Since I didn't have my computer on last night, i couldn't write out a full post.
I read up to 128 which is the end of Tank 13. Some thoughts on the second arc so far.
Andrei was hella quiet for most of the first storyline but holy shit does he come out swinging in the 2nd. Trying to stop Joe was hilariously stupid what wit hthe Rube Goldberg Klutz really setting up the entire thing. His expression was genius. Then there's Andreinomics, holy shit, lol. Masochism Investment and Economics followed by a Masochism Black Monday, hahaha. He's also had the cutest subplot involving Risa. I like her a lot, lol.
Joe and Gakuto have the worst subplot but it's pretty funny. I thought it was just gonna be Gakuto dealing with all of the shit (pun intended) he'd get from the stuff he did and trying to win over Mitsuko but man, getting into the Three Kingdoms BL is lol. The jokes and the imagery kills me too. Zhuge Liang stroking Guan Yu's beard... I laughed pretty hard when Joe awoke to his inner DTL.
Shingo hasn't had much to do so far but LOL at the advice that Kiyoshi gave him. That gag is so good. I thought Kiyoshi was fucking with him but then later on I find out he's legit serious. I like how Anzu comes to hear him out and then he ignores her. That's gonna bite him in the ass bad.
Kiyoshi getting into shenanigans again is so good. With the above revelation that he was serious in his advice to Shingo, I can't tell if this guy is smart or dumb or smumb. His scene with Mari in the bath and the snakes was so fucking hilarious. Just imagining them rolling around like that makes me start to bust out laughing. It was kind of hot too. The taking pictures scene with Hana is great too. Poor Meiko passing out at his junk though.
On the USC, I really don't feel sorry for them after how they treated the boys in the first arc but at least they're getting some story and development. Felt a little bad for the UVP/Meiko the most, I think. Both of her designs are really good too. Hana has a serious case of stockholm syndrome in regards to Kiyoshi and I feel kind of bad for her because it does look like she's getting left out even in the prison. Mari is kind of annoying but I had to laugh at her interactions with her dad as a kid. Makes me think she actually really likes guy's asses, lol.
As for the student council itself, Mitsuko is whatever. She's BL fangirl though the 3 Kingdom twist is funny. Risa is pretty awesome. She has that goth/angry girl look but is just kind of serious and quiet. Her being mushy over Andrei's cool sequences was great. Kate's an asshole, that's it.
Tank 15 covers up until Ch 148 so I should get close to being caught up.
