Part 1 of Xros Wars was pretty good, though the 2nd half of it (The Evil Death Generals Arc) was pretty awesome.

I never got around to watching Young Hunters since I heard it was pretty bad.

Granted, my complaints on Xros Wars are pretty minor stuff at best.

I found the first 12 episodes or so of Xros Wars to be pretty mediocre (every episode was fairly formulaic, Akari and Zenjirou were a waste of space, etc). From around episode 15 on though it did pick up, and by the time of the Death Generals half it was legitimately awesome.

I think Xros Wars was a good example of a writing staff realizing what wasn't working with their show, and actually doing a good job at retooling the show to flow better.

If they have any sense retcon it.

Yeah, this is what I hope. Just don't even acknowledge 02's epilogue at all.

Would it? Because this one seems more made for people who saw Adventure and Adventure 02. Chances are the current Nickelodeon audience doesn't quite hit that qualification

*shrug* You'd be surprised how little children care about continuity. My younger sister skipped to 02 from the middle of Adventure because she wanted to see V-mon. Then there is the fact Netflix has the first two seasons which children may have or can watch.

The chance of nostalgic old fans (who didn't support Fusion) and therefore the chance for new fans is much higher than any other season.

But that's just my opinion. I will agree that Nick is not a good place for it though.

Agreed. It's a little disconcerting when he first digivolves because he's no longer a cute little playmate, he's a monster. It's shown he still cares about and is connected with them (with the whistle and such), but he's still a giant monster.

Remember, signatures + begging does not = buying. Some games have fallen to that trap and end up bombing. (even more annoying when some people are all "too little, too late" even if it's been less than a year or even just over a year since the games original release >_> seen that a few times on here)

Bamco have done some good work with localizations recently. I won't be surprised to hear something about CS later this year

It might not all equate in purchases, but it does show A LOT of interest for such a niche title. Sometimes I wonder how many titles have come out from just sheer persistence. Tales I'm SURE came back from the grave due to the fans going on endless bugging campaigns. That one did pay off, of course. I mean, there's so little we CAN do but beg. Darn old foogey Japanese businessmen sometimes... Seriously, I can't tell you how many times they sit and go "oh westerners WANT this game?" or "oh westerners LIKE games in Japanese and not just in their native english?" It amazes me how much they hide under rocks about the worldwide market...

And yeah it amazes me how some people are just like "oh it's been x amount of time, guess we should just give up now!" Re;Digitize MIGHT still have a chance, since plenty of games still come out that are a couple years old in Japan, too. I mean, for all we know, Bamco is securing the license so BOTH Digimon games can be released, announcing them at the same time. Well, that's my dream, anyways There's no REAL time frame, of course. With getting a localized announcement, some games get them: simultaneously, very soon after Japan announces it, close to the Japanese release, soon after Japanese release, several months to over a year of the Japanese release. No real "formula" to it, except inpatient people.

I found an emulated one for PC last year that is extremely accurate. Used the space bar for steps. Don't remember where I got it from though, but it made me realize how awesome it would be to have it on mobile (or by some divine magic on 3DS synced with the system's step counter).

I was finally able to watch through most of it.

Some thoughts:

• There seems to be a lot of places to go.
• The first guy had every main Digimon from Adventure along with Vamdemon.
• The female MC runs in a typical girly fashion. I kept wanting to reach in and pull her arms down.
• I like that the four main Digimon from Tamers were in her party. Impmon laughing when he wins, lol.
• Mastemon's original design was really Omegamon-ish. They should have come up with something better than "giant arm" for the LadyDevimon side.
• Holydramon was sooo adorable. The way it hovers is amazing with all the tiny wings flapping. :3

Overall it looks solid to me. Waiting for it to get here after it ships is going to be torture.

But then I'd have to lose.

Trust me, even untranslated, you'll get the story pretty well if you know Adventure (I played it originally when I didn't know a lick of Japanese. Hell I learned my Hiragana and most of my Katakana from it haha)

That said, the game while good, you can easily see the PSP limits of the game. Lack of people in areas, reused animations, etc.

I REALLY wish they had waited and put it on the Vita so they could have done more. But it is easily one of the best Digimon games for Adventure fans just because we get to play through the story, all the first evolutions and everything (all recreated pretty faithfully in FMVs in the game). Oh and Mega Digimon warp digivolutions (Seraphimon, Ophanimon, Vikemon, Hououmon/Phoenixmon, Herkuleskabuterimon, Rosemon).

I've completed the game twice, once via my PSP 2000 (I believe) using Component cable to connect it to my TV and once via the PPSSPP emulator which made it look so good.

Yup. they have to if they want to make the TV stations happy lol. (hype and advertisements. By the end of March, they should be showing CMs and advertising Vol 1 of the anime on BD lol)

Also my Adventure BD has been sent out for delivery here in Scotland, one day after the JP release date. Amazon Japan works fast!

We will find out soon. I doubt they want to delay it with all the other anniversary stuff coming out so soon but you never know.

We'll know within 2 weeks I'd estimate.
