VR porn is the pinnacle of human existence. It's all down hill from here.
Holodecks, son.
Ain't nothing says "pinnacle of human existence" such as sliding your dick into some fuzzy-feeling forcefields.

VR porn, like traditional film on VR simply sucks when it's not using a 3D engine. My mission right now it seems is to get that out there. Too many people seem to think it must be really cool. Having no translation makes VR not VR, and the field of view warping is never quite right. Once they do start using 3D engines you will probably have a much better experience. The question is can people get off to CGI essentially? It's not impossible. There are incredibly impressive full body scans out there that if animated well might be pretty cool...
"I thought I had deactivated the stream to the livingroom TV but I had not."Let's all chip in and get 8bitnate a VR headset so he can watch it while his sisters around.
Ya'll know Japan is doomed, right
I think 3D is going to be just fineVR necessitates 3D. Japan only cares about 2D girls.
Yeah but imagine how easy getting caught is going to be.
The best way to do VR porn, right now, isn't the way that most people picture it. Basically, it isn't as a participant, it's as a voyeur. It's not going to be CGI, it's going to be a real girl putting on a show right in front of you, and talking to you. We don't have the tactile feedback to make being a participant work right now (which is basically why this article says the whole thing felt so weird). I get what you're saying about the ways of filming it not being there yet, but I think it's going to get there really soon, if not within the next couple years.
Fair points, but 3D-Scanned porn is already a thing right now, and produces some amazing results in VR. 3D-filmed static footage is also already being used in VR experiences, and as long as the camera point in VR matches the camera point of the footage, it produces nearly indistinguishable effects of real, living humans in VR worlds. While that is incredibly limiting for video games and other interactive experiences, its perfect for "cinematic" or non-interactive experiences.VR porn, like traditional film on VR simply sucks when it's not using a 3D engine. I wonder if any of the pornstars in these things have sat down and fucked themselves in VR.
That must be a trip.
Who is this person? You just met her. Why is she right in your face? Please step back please step back please step back she's not stepping back. Why can't you step back?" I could count the moments of eye contact in eternities, it felt so awkward.
Cuckolds on the frontier once again!

If the porn industry runs with this tech, we're facing our extinction event.
