This is also where I tell you guys that we brought GringoSauve89 on to the team, as well that we have grown from Reclaimer Radio to ReclaimerHub. Basically what happened is that when we decided to name ourselves we did it with the intention of being a HaloGAF Radio successor and we were just that up until a few weeks ago when we started doing the Recap. Now are planning more and more content, features, a serial series and more so we rebranded ourselves to what we are now which is ReclaimerHub. I've had people playing with me last night that could NOT stop playing as long as I was session leader, and chose BTB. Minimal hassle, we stayed together as a party, and teams had minimal quitting and griefing. "One more game!" "Just one more!" Wow, it's been a while.
P.S. Did they just add Halo CE to Big Team? I love it when we played H1 maps

I just played a round with an adorable little kid. I even put on my mic because I felt bad for the only small voice talking in the lobby. It brings me joy that youngins still give a damn about Halo. He was actually ok, he even captured the flag once but he was panicking the whole way. Also, he would not stop talking. Things I learned:
Master Chief dies at the end of Halo Nightfall
You don't hear that guy in the first video of Halo 2 again after the first video
The Battle Rifle is a phase 2 gun, the Assault Rifle is a phase 1
You have to press X to play another round in 1 flag CTF
Elites are actually called "aliens"
You can only talk to the players with blue names (truthfact)
If I go into the BTB playlist, we can play together again (he was very clear on this point)

It was useless because it didn't prevent you from playing with people you left negative feedback on.
The biggest reason it was useless was that it didn't keep you from playing with the same person again.

It's definitely something where you have to experience the old soundscape to understand what you're missing out on. When I'm using CEA sounds, I can typically zone out the fact that I'm using CEA sounds, but I have a lot less in the way of "that sounds amazing" experiences.
I should get around to making a video comparison; the image doesn't really do a good job of describing the difference between CEA classic mode and the original game. They both have the billboard spray effects, but in classic mode the effects blend... oddly with the environment when you're standing in the spray.
I just checked MCC though, and it looks like that's one of the 360-specific issues.
Right now I actually have CE running on my oXbox+CRT right next to CEA's two iterations running on my 360 and XB1 and being sent to my flat panel, heh.
Poor 360 version. The IQ is dubious upscaled on that 48" television, and the controls can't compete with MCC (60fps) or the less-stuttery* original game benefiting from CRT latency.
*It's prone to spikes, but it's very even at any given performance level. Yay clean double-buffering.
Doesn't blocking people do the same thing now? Someone annoys me that much I just block them. Haven't been matched up after that.

It wasn't just some random E-book is was an amazing short story, Which was very well written and an incredible story at that. The character didn't die is some stupid way, and is quite essential to the story. Also the rookie as a character was ans is always been an empty shell even stated so by bungie, So its not like he was a developed character. But even with that you feel for him in what is going on with in the context of the story.
Again the Book was amazing
Really because I think they have handles the EU and the lore quite well, Greg Bear's novels are fantastic, Broken circle is amazing, and New blood was fantastic. And even Travis's Novel have many extremely well done portions of the novels.
Only semi Halo related, but I'm about to chuck my Xbox one out a window...so many damn errors just trying to start a game up and get a guest in.
Took 45 min to get a guest registered, tried to sign on to play online, it froze. Then I hard rebooted the system, says I can't go online at all, still can't register a guest. Hard rebooted again, signed on but my NAT was set to strict and the game refused to launch due to XBL errors. Took like 2 hours but I gave up and said fuck it
Fuck this machine I just wanted to play Halo with friends on my bday :/
