BLOODBORNE Spoiler Thread (read OP)

So this game is harder than the Souls games?

And Waste of Skin seems to be a great starting choice. Put those 6 levels where you want.

I guess I have three questions before I preorder. How are the graphics? Is it smooth clear and detailed? Hard to find a good hd video that shows this. I don't want a game that was made for ps3 uprezzed for current gen. Does the game have a story? Is there a point to beating the game? Or do we just run around killing bosses. Lastly, if I didn't like lords of the fallen one bit, will I like this? I played the original Demon Souls on ps3, beat it and loved it. Haven't played any of the Dark souls games.

Was going to reply to your other questions but then saw this....you will love this game. There is an overarching story.

he is talking about people who report streams, so that the get taken down I think.

what is the deal with the different amounts of blodd echos every class starts with: http://bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com/Classes
?

how much do the first few level cost?
the amount looks very small.
540 echos max.

that didn't get you far in the souls games.

Probably useful at the beginning when you want to a better weapon or item right away. It does seem kinda worthless.

The difficulty will be different for all players but Kevin vanOrds chalice dungeon preview basically said that he had to re-learn how to play the game even as a souls fan. Some of the stuff which he thought would work in BB didn't and resulted in many deaths.

It seems like every weapon we've seen scales pretty much the same with STR and SKL and has negligible difference in equip requirements.

I wonder if you have to start getting to higher tiers of upgrades in order to have some difference between the two, otherwise it seems like you can do most things with one build.

Also I really want to see the stats on that greatsword...

0RACLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is Discovery stat for? Also runes look like it will change things up a bit, can't wait to see what else is there.

Yeah mechanics are slightly different ofcourse. And I figure most players played DeS with Thief Ring, enemies being passive and picked off one by one. I expect Miyazaki to answer on that and Bloodborne to be relentless here, but on the flipside your movement is more agile and you can stun.

So yes the wait has become unbearable.

No s.lvl 1 runs in BB unfortunately :( (unlike you can get soulsucked).

Lvl 4 is minimum.

Eh, it just becomes Lvl 4 runs then, not a big deal.

The variety of the environments is bad, really bad...

I get the concern, but I think it's important to factor in that this isn't a Souls game in the end, so they might have wanted the world to be a lot more cohesive and consistent. I think people should approach the game with idea that there will be changes like that to factor in, so they won't feel disappointed that it might not be built the same way the other games were.

It's just frustrating me for some reason ._.

Couple questions for anyone who would be kind enough to answer:

1) How are the iframes? Is it bad like DS2 or are they accurate, meaning, you don't finish a dodge animation then suddenly get pulled over 5 feet to the enemies weapon and take damage?

2) Waste of Skin. People are saying, "Oh! That looks good as you can level up the 6 wherever you want!" Reading the OP, I'm not seeing how that is possible. It appears you start at level 4 and have hardly any blood echos to level up anything. How are you going from a 4 to a 10 with no blood echos?

3) Sounds. I'm hearing great things about the sounds used for weapons hitting, etc but how about the output? Is it in DTS?, 5.1? DD?

4) Aggo enemies. People are saying they will stay on you and does that mean like forever? If you aggro an enemy, he will follow you everywhere until you fight? Can they climb ladders?

5) Do we have a definitive answer on what each skill represents? I know VIT is health, obviously, but what about the others?

6) Is discovery a dump stat like Luck was in the other games?

Anyway, the wait is killing me so I'm trying to get my mind off the fact I have over 14, 440 minutes to wait until I can play this game so thanks, in advance.

Okay, I peeked. Those pictures were nothing too spoiler-y, but look *amazing*.

Can't wait till the 24th! Still no word on when reviews drop? I assume not tomorrow anymore.
