BLOODBORNE Spoiler Thread (read OP)

The loading time that really matters to me is the one after a death ! Did anyone count that ? Though I wonder if the day one patch can have a incidence on it.

Could be dependent on how far away the respawn point is. In any case, I'd really like to see a sub-10 second load after death. The load from the Dream back to Yharnam is quite lengthy, but I won't mind it so much if I get a smooth experience once I load in.
 
To bad I'm not a fan because this game seems like every Souls fan's wet dream.

Good to see every impression so far is highly positive.

I hear you...I caught myself fantasiszing about it on my run today, in the car driving around, and even at dinner with my family...but I saved my blind Shadow of the Colossus run for this time as I knew it would be dire....No better way to pass the torch from blind run of the last GOTF to the new!!! Fianlly I am the one who gets to be a virgin on a good game for a change instead of all the new BB and Souls virgins!
 
More impressions and Greatsword screenshots

hey guys, i'm back tonight to write what i found while playing with my friends for 2 hrs.

before i get to that, I'll answer some questions.
1) Personally the stake driver was the hardest to get for me, but like i said I got extremely lucky that my visceral attack sent the guy flying off the tower. he died due to the fall. I only managed to get him down to 60% health. You need 18 Strength and 9 Dex to use it.

2) NO there are more than 5 bosses. What I meant to say is that at that time I found 5 bosses and managed to beat only 4. And no each chalice dungeon has multiple levels. I only finished 2 so far, and at the end of each level there is a boss battle. So 2 levels = 2 boss battles.

Next is what everyones going to be excited to see. I got a GREATSWORD trick weapon. It's called Ludwig's Holy Blade. It cost me 20000 souls to get, and boy was it worth it. Its two handed R2 charge move kills almost everthing in one hit now. I switched my hunter axe to keep the sword in my current arsenal. Pics of the sword can be seen below.

BOSS SPOILERS

Ok now onto the juicy stuff. I was farming for some vials and made my way back to the area where I fought FATHER Gasciogne (I kept saying priest like an idiot). And to my surprise there was a hunter (who looked like the poster boy hunter for bloodoborne), but he had a dark yellow color on him. I'm thinking some kind of phantom, because he was insane. he was hard to fight, but out of no where, the crow lady comes out with her twinblades and helps me with the fight. I think that she helped me because I already talked to her earlier on in the game, getting my shake cape off gesture from her. He didn't drop anything good but damn I'll look out for more.

I also was able to beat the 5th boss I encountered. Man was she hard. Had her beat several times, but the B**** started healing multiple times during the fight. The only way to avoid this was to rush her the whole fight. I used the bolt paper to imbue lightning on my threaded cane to beat her. Cool looking boss.

It's called insight. Seems to go up when encountering bosses and seems to have some use in co-op.

Monster Hunter 3/4 and very especially this game are making me realize how much I love transforming weapons. It's probably just an extension of my soft spot for transforming machinery in general, having grown up loving 1984's Transformers with every inch of my by then tiny(er) being.

You have only seen one of them, like where are you even paying attention to.No one has even made screenshots of the snowy area yet, and yet you are somehow able to tell a whole games worth from a few screenshots.

Graphics don't seem to be a huge leap forward. That "praise the sun" picture shows poor LOD.

Yes the atmosphere looks awesome, i love twilight lighting and artistic quality but the rest is not so good.

Looking for draw distance in a souls game isn't really a thing, although it helps discerning what areas lie ahead. Most people would probably think it looks better during the night,whenever that happens. Not being a graphical leap though? You should look at the past games and see if you can find anything like this:

Now it's: NO ENVIRONMENT VARIETY!!

Please, stop spreading stupid and invalid concerns. .

Maybe you should use your head and realise thats because many of the images are from the same areas we have seen -___-

Wait till all areas or a lot of areas are shown to make such a comment.

Everything about Bloodborne appeals to me (awesome boss battles, very offensive) but the difficulty sounds insane, not something I would enjoy and is in all honesty a huge deal breaker for me. Particularly hearing how it's difficult to co-op, I think my time with Bloodborne has to end here. It's a shame but whatever, maybe one day Miyazaki will put in a lower difficulty for people like me to enjoy. :(
