RIP in pieces. Oh man I feel bad for newcomers. I've never seen such aggressiveness from a boss, especially one so early. Maybe Flamelurker but even he goes back sometimes. That was a relentless assault.

This is how I felt when I played my first Souls (Dark). It...gets better. But the pain of starting out...is immense.

The loading screen really sucks. Just the plain BB logo with no indication that it's actually loading. They couldn't do item descriptions or character portraits?

Edit: I see the indication in the top right now, but it's still a boring screen.

Usually in the Souls games if I got stuck going one way tried to go somewhere else. Sometimes you just aren't leveled up enough to make it through certain areas yet even though they're accessible. So I would say try going somewhere else and go back to where you are now when you're stronger. I'm assuming that's possible at least, I haven't played BB.

From a location to the Dream Refuge took 10 seconds.
From the Dream Refuge back to the previous location took 48 seconds.
