Inconsistent, sometimes theyre average (15-20 seconds) other times theyre like 30-40

Hoping they get improved in a day 1 patch

not really, Im just used to PC version of DS2...SSD's are decent things.

I have no idea where else to ask this (thread wise) but I figured a decent amount of Souls enthusiasts would be in here (those who don't care about spoilers, anyway)

Anyway -- I'm downloading Demons Souls, which I have played quite a bit of, but I've always got stuck on Old King Allant, probably because I was a magic user -- I want to go back and run through it melee, In the Dark Souls games I'd use the Uchigatana alot, but I don't know how that would go in DeS.

Recommend me a rough build for just blowing through Demons Souls.

To be fair, I haven't really seen any streamers out of the first area and it doesn't look like you really need to use the gun there. But yeah, the lack of using all the options is something that I've noticed a lot of in these early streams.

magic is pretty OP, but if you want to melee him the most op weapon imo is the dragon bone smasher ....need pure white on world 2, collect at Dragon King boss room after Flamelurker. Buff with cursed weapon.

True, but it really is best to start training yourself to use the tools you are given early on so you don't form some bad habits.

This happens to me all the time in Demon's Souls (not pressing X).

I don't know, but that was bugging too. He was fighting sent stuff for a not with that on the screen, and I wanted to scream, "Hit X damn it! The middle of your screen is even telling you to hit it!". I find it hard to believe someone could be so unattentive that they'd leave that on the screen, so it has to just be a glitch, right?
