Battlefield Hardline |OT| Battlefield FIVE-O

Sigh, should have known the deal was too good to be true with that eBay sale. Will probably request a refund in a few hours.

Yep seems like that seller was bogus or hopping to steal some boxes ? Who knows....

Seller had 100% feedback yesterday and now has a ton of negative, so he must have screwed over a ton of people LOL

Filling a claim with eBay now and buying off GMG or Amazon

It looks like he was also apparently selling GTA V PC codes. Now that's suspicious. Yep definitely gonna file a claim with Ebay and Paypal and will just wait for a sale a few months down the line.

Kinda disappointed... A mix of kind of looking forward to BF Hardline, and a guy trying to run off with my $40.

Hey guys, I am thinking about buying this game, then I looked at the other topic about the graphics. Is there any merit to the claims in that thread, or is it just yet another circle jerk? I thought I'd actually no better from people who actually have the game so I posted in this thread.

My opinion is the exact opposite. I've been avoiding Large Conquest because I feel like the maps are too big and I rarely encounter people.

I'm enjoying the game so far, but there are a lot of polish issues that should have been fixed or never existed.

The more I play it, the more I enjoy it. It reminds me of the Bad Company series. The atmosphere is great and the game doesn't take itself too seriously. It's like BF: Bad Boys, which could be a turn off for some people, but I love it. All the new modes are refreshing and a nice break from the typical conquest. It's not the best BF game, but for me it's a game you just play to have fun and don't take it too seriously.

Just had the game lock up on me when I was purchasing weapon upgrades to the point I couldn't move the controller at all and had to restart it....not sure how that made it past testing.

Odysseus slipped out like a thief in the night. I demand a refund!

Anyway, it's cool that the BF4 platoons carry over but (unless I totally missed something, which is likely) it seems as if you have to manually re-add your GAF tag via the online Battlelog.

Wow, I'm so done with Amazon.ca. Canceled my Prime membership. Turns out, game won't show up til Friday. The fuck am I paying 80 bucks a year for? This is the third or fourth game they've pulled this crap on me. I've had multiple items delayed and late.

What a useless service, at least in Canada.

I find this game kind of weird. And I'm whether I like it or not. At this point, I've spent 3 hours playing multiplayer, Conquest. Tomorrow, I'll try the other modes. Maybe they're more fun. Conquest feels like an after thought and for me Conquest is BF.

So far, I really dislike the boost and load out system. It seems very confusing. What to buy, when, when things get unlocked.

The game faster then BF4, that's something I don't like. And I don't like the lack of vehicles. Cars and armored transport vehicles just don't do it for me. I thought I was going to like COD: AW, but I got bored and went back to BF4. When I look at a map like Golmud there's just so much variety for any play style or with any vehicle. Whereas so far my impression of Hardline was that it's just an infantry DM shooter and it will get repetitive for me.

The whole concept seems a little jarring too. Say what you will about trigger happy cops, but I don't think you'd get a cop to rolling you over and slicing your throat with a knife. It was kind of a WTF moment when it happened to me. It seems ok in a war setting, but not when there are the worlds "POLICE" written on the guys uniform.

Edit: They definitely didn't do anything to the engine. I just got a sound bug (where the sound goes muffled for the rest of the round) just like in BF4 (PS4). It's been there for months in BF4 and it happened here too.

Distressingly low number of (active) Hotwire servers on PC, hope I don't regret sticking with PC and not switching to PS4 for this one.

Edit:

Looks like Xbox 3 is the most popular. Contrary to BF4.

Fuuuuuuu

Digging the MP so far on PS4. Did a TDM, but the most fun was with Heist. Playing as the cops as pretty fun. Securing the package, taking out runners with the package, and driving around in cars equal all in good fun.

Happy with my purchase.

This game is awesome! It might not be the prettiest, but it plays like a fun arcade shooter! Meant to just have fun with it.

Reminds me of BC2 and the fun I used to have in Halo 2.

I had fun with the blood money and heist. And i liked the beta. It seems totally great, for 32 players. not 64.

I tried to get 100 fps in BF4 and it was pretty close to doable, but this one seems like it's going to be just 60fps, which is fine. This isn't counter strike or anything.

I just picked it up, I hope the campaign is not too bad it's the main reason why I picked it up (just to play as cops since there's not that many games where you do), I'm not that much in to multiplayer games, but I might try it out it seems interesting.

To be fair it's not out in Europe yet which is where a lot of PC Battlefield players are.

I've been debating getting it but I think I'll hold on since none of my PC BF buddies are getting it either.

Will possibly get it when it's cheaper but at that point, we're probably getting close to Battlefront anyway.

I think Hardline just reminds me of the old days where we could mod BF and extend the life of the vanilla game for years. Now it's annual games with $60 worth of DLC too.

Loving the Hostage mode, which is strange, because I usually dont like no respawn round based modes.

It's a lot of fun, yelling at dumb ass teammates isn't :-/

With a good squad they'll probably be great, I was enjoying myself even when we were getting destroyed.

This is my first Battlefield game that I have bought only because of GCU and will likely trade it in less than a month from now.

As far as multi-player going any tips for a noob? I have played a lot of CODs. Do silencers make you not appear on map? Does prone make you more accurate? Any general advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Got the kobra sight, extended mag and suppressor on my ACWR, just need 10 more kills and I can buy the angled grip and the stubby just to test them both.

<3 the ACWR.
