Kojima will no longer be a Konami executive from April 1st + KojiPro is no more?

MGSV is basically done and I'm confident that Kojima if he wanted to continue doing anything will find a way to do it and it would be great

What i'm absolutely worried about is the status of Silent Hills

I'm 89% certain this is all just an elaborate ruse.

Remember Moby Dick Studios, anyone?

Joking around with Moby Dick before the game was announced for sure was one thing, but this is delisting a major member of a publicly traded company. You don't mess around when stock price is on the line.

Snake wasn't Snake to me without Hayter. With Kojima leaving himself, it'll be easier to finally say goodbye to MGS franchise (even if Konami keep pumping them in the background like RE/Ass Creed).

Sony would be fucking stupid not to chase him down. His games are consistently some of their best system selling exclusives.

If Kojima-san ends up at studio Japan, that means Keichiro Toyama teaming up with Hideo Kojima for the true spiritual succesor of Silent Hill :O!!!

MGSV is not done, they're at a very critical phase right now as Kojima said in his latest video.

Whaaaaaaaat the fuck. I'd love (and hate) it to be April Fools joke but this shit is just waaaay too serious. Thanks DetectiveGAF, you're the best.

Between whatever this is, Nintendo going mobile and lawyers under the guise of Atari going after Jeff Minter, it's been a queasy week for games.

This move wouldn't jeopardize the Sep. 1st MGSV release, right?

What if Kojima got drunk yesterday due to st patrick's day and jokely said he quit?
They are removing his name, while he sits in the corner wearing a celtics basketball tshirt

His team started working on MGS6 but they fucked it up again, so Konami asked Kojima again to come back but this time he said definitely no so they erase the Kojima Productions logo from MGSV were his team worked over 5 fucking years on it.

I swear if this happened then I'm done with Konami.

Oh my god I hope I'm wrong.

I think there's more to it than just that tbh

Looks like it might just be a restructure and focus on branding. Kojima may still be there. Not enough info yet for all this knee jerk response stuff

Edit: Perhaps I stand corrected already ^^^ / shopped
