The Digimon in this game evolve pretty fast. I want to say it took longer in Dawn, but I can't remember exactly.

It may be intentional to encourage degeneration, we'll see how that goes.

Still doing my stupid quest for final form digimon all the while sitting around in the same sub quest dungeon at Chapter 4. am up to 131 registered digimon almost 40 hrs of playtime

Managed to get 2 that I wanted so far, can make others but its taking longer since am doing focused EXP injections using 2 plat shits at once.

Though at this point Im fairly satisfied and should move forward lol. The other one will be a bit harder to pull off since Ill need a specific type that has the int raising trait.

As the she needs an INSANE amount of int and with my current base even if I reach lv 99 do not think Ill be able to hit that int req unless its the int type.

Feels weird that I'm 10 hours in and only at Chapter 3. Normally I'd be further but I'm just taking my time just now. Not that it's a bad thing of course.

The game had to put in the memory system as with how the evolving system has pretty much very few roadblocks folks would be running around with end game shit from the start if they were bored enough that would pretty much break all game balance lol. But by then it wouldnt matter anyways as said user would have spent a fuckton of time in the game.

I finally got my game in, although I only got a little bit of time in tonight (basically up to getting my first Digimon (Palmon)). I'll need to level up my kanji reading a little bit as I go. Following the main story scenes isn't a problem, but some of the non-voiced lines have taken me a little while on.

Game is certainly fun so far. I like the setup, and I'll be looking forward to really getting into the battling and evolving after work tomorrow.

No idea really, but considering how Bandai Namco has not really brought out anything else in the franchise for a while, Id imagine them not doing so again unless there was something that they could use as a catalyst to drive interest back into the series. Which the anime most def would do.

Same for God Eater 2: Rage Burst as I mentioned in my post. Though that one they could possibly bring out earlier as they do have numbers of how the original God Eater Burst did in the US on top of the new found fanbase behind the hunting genre in general with the West.

From a business standpoint, it is my personal opinion that is the route Bandai Namco would be going.

The other good news is that Bandai Namco has most def been more aggressive with localizing titles for Asia and the West so there is a good chance even if it does wind up as digital only.

English Language Localization: Not announced for localization as of this moment (I'll update this if that changes )

As for an announcement at E3. Don't count on it. I fully expect a localization (though if we don't hear anything this year then I'll probably give up on the idea but Yakuza 5 has shown me, anything can happen lol) but I'd expect it more at Japan Expo or something (if they do it at an event at all that is).

I'd also expect SAOLS to be announced before/after E3. (by Japan Expo at the latest).

Can't say much about Rage Burst since all we know about that is it's got a Trademark. (the demo has made it a buy for me though. Enjoyed the demo)

I really think they will release it with the anime or an announcement. Which I would like to think will be before the digimon one.

The thing is unless BanNam has something large to announce at E3 I could see it possibly being announced. Unless there is some sort of other type of related convention before that which would make sense for them to use as a platform to announce the localization with.

Since lets see game comes out next week, forgot what the Asia release is but not too far after, E3 is in June. Hmm...

I really like the game - while I still think it has some problems like the amount of backtracking, terrible maps in both dungeons and regular locations, I really enjoyed my time with it.
It's a great rpg with a really engaging story even if you're not a Digimon fan.

I finished up the prologue. That scene with Nokia meeting Agumon and Gabumon was hilarious.

I haven't really done a whole lot since the game hasn't opened up that much yet, but I'm having a blast.

Garurumon (Black) is awesome from visual stand point (I'm not really using the DLC yet, just keeping them in my farm. Eventually I can get the alternative Omegamon lol).

Greymon (blue) sort of took me by surprise. I always called him Black but I guess he does look a bit blue lol.

Hoping to play more tonight. My TV (which also acts as my second PC monitor ) broke the other day and CS just doesn't look as good on this old temp TV I'm using. My new one should be here sometime today so yeah.

Starting to get some awesome Digimon. I've got Garurumon (Black), Growmon, Dorumon (totally getting him all the way up to Alphamon, no matter how long that takes) and more. I wish I had more than 25 points available for my team right now, because I keep having to make some tough choices. But eventually I'm going to get all the Digimon.
