Battlefield Hardline |OT| Battlefield FIVE-O

PS4 MP runs like shit. It feels like it lags constantly and I'm getting killed by invisible players. The net code is nothing to write home about either. This is weird because people seem to be praising the net code, lol. I dunno.

It was fine for me yesterday, but full conquest large games have terrible rubberbanding today (Australian servers).

Ughh. Don't know if to get this this weekend or just get BF4 and premium. I'm scared if I get BF4 the community is going to just diminish soon. Anyone still playing BF4? And if so, hows it looking?

BF4 os still a Great game and it will get again new maps. The only problem i see with it was that in the past couple weeks there where so much less official servers, only private with rules etc.

Since I started playing Hardline I don't see my self returning for Bf4 again, this is way more fun in my opinion even though it lacks what Battlefield experience is.

On PC, I completed the campaign but it still shows 10/11 episodes on battlelog even though I got the achievements. Anyone else have the same problem? Not a big deal for some but I'm OCD about things like that.

Yep, I also will not be returning to BF4. Hardline MP is a great time, and this spinoff is a fresh and unique entry into the series.

Xbox one has been really smooth for me. A few bits of lag hiccups here and there, a few disconnections. But the gameplay has felt great really net code wise on Xbox one.

Same - Australian servers here. I'm on a rock solid Cable connection as well.

No other games have this issue. (apart from BF4 as well in its earlier versions.)

That said it's a bit of fun even though I am completely shit atm.

What's with the song and dance to upload a video clip from x1 to Facebook. I was playing hot wire, on top of a skyscraper, threw a grenade off the top and actually blew up a car with everyone in it.

Why can't I just edit the video and upload it?
Then I have to upload it to onedrive and now apparently I have to download onedrive on my pc as well?

All it really takes is one guy who knows where the stinger spawns to completely destroy your streak.

They spawn in my trunk. Start of the round I jump out, grab stingers, jump in, drive towards middle of the map, knock down enemy copter. It doesn't matter how good the enemy copter crew is, they can't deal with our copter and my stingers at the same time unless they stay home. They also wan't have Fast Repair at the start of the round. For the rest of the round the lifespan of the enemy helicopter is roughly tied to that of my player since I'm coming out with another 3 stingers as soon as I die if I notice their copter is up again.

I think we'll get to a point where people won't even use the helicopter at the very start of the map, but will wait a minute or so for the first spawn stinger people to be dealt with.

Oh, and for the people who can't hit anything with the side guns it takes some getting used to and it seems highly dependent on your connection to the server in question. Sometimes I will aim perfectly---based upon my past experience---and get no hit markers whatsoever for some reason. Feels like a bug.

idk maybe they should tone down the tear gas. Having one gadget slot constantly blocked by a gas mask in Blood Money is pretty annoying.

It's time for DICE to bring back Bad Company. Only way to save Battlefield from the decline.

Based DICE (Sweden) doesnt work on Battlfield no more.
Pretty nuts isnt?

BF4 support: DICE LA
BF Hardline: Visceral
Mirror's Edge, SW Battlefront: Based DICE

Sup guys, super excited to get this tonight when it finally installs, beta all over again ffs -,- but even so, PS4 UK Gaf add me: Maaaaaardy

Don't mind people from anywhere but for Connections sake UK Gaf get the shout out haha!

The behaviour of the shotguns in the beta is what sold me on the game, best shottys since Modern Warfare 2.

Then again I'm a weirdo who has more kills in BF4 with the Saiga 12k than any other gun
I've barely touched the shotties. These maps make them also feel a bit more useful based on the type of encounters I seem to find myself in. I want to give them more of a shot. I've been running operator almost exclusively thus far.

The campaign is mildly interesting, but feels dated and isn't very pretty. The gameplay is rather mediocre, too, and it gets boring.

I'm now on episode 7 of 10, on veteran. The only really bad glitch I encountered was when I had to take out a ghost enemy before I could progress.

I'm going to give the MP another shot, but likely won't dig it, so it'll surely be sold soon.

Can we just get Visceral and DICE LA to partner up, make Bad Company 3, release it a year and a half or so after Battlefront and then DICE proper can finish up Mirror's Edge 2 and support Battlefront post launch?

Please?

No different than having one gadget slot constantly blocked by a repair tool in Hotwire, maybe they should tone down weapon damage? ;) Not only is the slot blocked but there is almost no good reason to play any other class in Hotwire.

Hell I can't figure out how to upload pics I've taken on Xbox One. It doesn't let me do anything with the pics I have of Killer Instinct except set them as my background. I hate Upload. Piece of shit.

Picked it up on origin a couple nights ago and have been having an absolute blast playing with a buddy of mine. Servers that rotate in the different modes are the most fun for me. Runs great and I'm having the most fun I've had with a battlefield game for quite some time. I'm overall very impressed.

Hotwire is such an awesome game but it's completely ruined by people on the opposite and your own team who don't care about the objective.

They would rather hide all over the map and on rooftops spamming their launchers and breaching charges than play objectives.

So many times I'll finish with 1 or 2 kills and 15kpts while others are racking up 20 odd kills and a few thousand points.

I'd argue they are playing the objective by denying the opposing team, and therefore contributing. The problem is when 90% of your team is doing it.

So I put the pre-order code that came in the box which said I got 3 gold battlepacks, and err, just got one. Did I miss something?

With the "deluxe edition" you get more battlepacks, and apparently they are doled out to you over time...

Most likely the same case here.

Hardline is about to finish installing on my PC and I noticed I am out of Origin friends. Anyone who wants to add me will find my handle hidden in email tags or pm me directly with theirs.

I'm experiencing the same shit I did in BF4. Rubberbanding, unload half a mag in a guy's back only to have him turn around and one shot me, etc.. No idea where the praise for the net code is coming from. US servers still full of Brazilian and Japanese players. Seriously, WTF?!

So, are there just not a lot of weapons compared to Battlefield 4 or have I missed something? I mean, theres only like 3 main weapons per class, and I can only seem to see one rocket launcher of any kind. I get that it is supposed to be toned down for the theme, but that doesn't seem like a lot of stuff really.

This is how the various packs get doled out:

Ah, cool, cheers.

Same for me, Hardline has been laggy for me, but if I pop in BF4 it still runs beautifully with great hit detection and such. The lag was real apparent when I started running with the shotguns, half of my kills seemed to register a good .3/.4 tenths of a second after I landed my shots, creating a window for other players to trade kills with me. Dunno what changed from the beta, but Hardline feels way off to me.

Servers seem good in Australia now. Rubberbanding disappeared, and the game feels great again.

Too bad it's 1am in the morning here.
