I agree with the latter points. But early importers were playing and experiencing the same thing as the Japanese release players. Same release dates for Asian version (English), Feb 5 09. Not trying to argue here, the point is importers were experiencing a really fresh game, which the later wiki's were able to build upon. Not to mention the lack of dev/pub support for DeSo compared to DaSo+. That's why the English wiki was so quick to 'appear" for DaSo and beyond. Considering the absorption rate of the series now Bloodbornes wiki will probably be a quick turnaround as well, the more I think about it. The series is just so different now compared to when DeSo first came out and was imported.

Local retailers, for me in Hamburg, Im also getting it tomorrow.
I have prepared myself the whole week for this:
- Cleaned every corner of my apartment
- Payed every bill in advance
- Washed my clothes
- Changes everything that requires change after a time (like bed sheets)
- Bought food for two weeks (Kebab, Pizza, Icecream, vegetables with dips etc.)
- Reminded everyone to not contact me in these days
- Test 2 different setups and have a backup setup if my normal setup fails
- Got a backup headset
I still feel not prepared for dieing though.

Lol. Glad I'm not the only one. I hate dust so generally I try to dust and wipe down everything bi weekly at least. But if I know a game is coming out soon I do it before so nothing else is distracting me. I'm in a much better mood when my home is clean.
Ahh lol, I always get my Games from GamesCastle too back then. How much do you have to pay? I pay 60 at HappyGamers and GamesCastle was always more expensive.

Strike > Pierce > Slash for PvE. For PvP DEX weapons in general, but especially shit like Chaos Blade (Katana) and Ice Rapier were extremely strong.
I'm not sure we are actually disagreeing about anything. I wasn't actually factoring in importers, which is why I mentioned the delay of the Western release.
Thanks for mentioning the path I took the first time playing Dark Souls. My thoughts were "Okay, this is pretty fucking hard for my level...this can't be right?". I actually ended up in the Tomb of Giants before giving up on that area at like level 10 or something. Also, underequipped is just a matter of difficulty or skill level since many players would do SL1 runs in the previous games.
Yes. It's good to knock that stuff out so you aren't thinking about how lazy you are while ignoring it for days while playing the new hotness.

Yeah, hes quite expensive and hes not a really reliable imo. He once tried to sell me a used game copy as a new one and since then I havent bought a game from him. But well its Bloodborne and he gets it early...;-)
Im currently trying to contact HappyGamer to reserve a copy for me (I would be more than happy to support him and not Game Castle), but he doesnt pick up...:-(

Just thought about something:
I really hope that share play is disabled in this game. For multiple reasons:
Can't beat a boss? Share playing would allow someone better to do it for you, which would result in never improving.
It would also open that person up to significant risk, because I can already smell the trolls who will run straight to the NPCs and murder all of them.

Why does it matter how other people finish the game. If they want to share play let them do it. It does not hamper your experience.
