BLOODBORNE Spoiler Thread (read OP)

I dont know why people uses spoiler tag on a SPOILER thread ?!?

If the thread was created to discuss spoilers i think its pretty safe to say that anyone who dares to enter here WILL be spoiled ;)

But well, anyone streaming and almost at the end of the game? Its where i stop on mobious yesterday
 
Haha, tuned in to this stream right as he got smacked down by the second boss. According to the chat, the boss is a problem for a lot of streamers.

Protip:
You can riposte and critical him like a normal enemy with your firearm.

Read the rules in the OP. the rules are there for what has to be hidden behind spoiler tags.

The dude with the mini machine gun, does he drop something useful? I beat him by making him fall, now I can access his drop.

the cane is good but you need to pick a Skill focused class like Professional to do some decent damage, not a Strength one like Violent Past.

I still don't know if I'll go for Noble Scion or Professional, it mainly depends on the Chikage upgraded scaling stats which I'd like to know before the game comes out.

btw I know that
L1 stance drains a lot of health but I'm sure that you can get some %regen runes or bloodgem-upgrades for it.

A spoiler thread should be an all out discussion on the game for people that really dont care about spoilers

But hey, its just ones man opinion hehe

I'm not, and a lot of people aren't. This thread is for people to jump in an ask questions like "don't want to ruin the game, but is X better than the demo?" or "is X from Dark Souls still present as a mechanic?"

It's a good idea.
 
Still debating whether I want to do a strength or dex oriented build. Can anyone who's kept up with the streams do a breakdown (in spoiler tags, if necessary) of which stats favor which weapons?
 
Because some people might stumble into this thread by mistake among the 30 Bloodborne threads in the front page of GAF

Because some people might be ok with one type of spoiler but not with another

Because some people don't want spoilers at all but want to read the discussion to hype themselves up

It takes two clicks to spoiler tag something.

The other advice is partially correct.
he drops a badge, this allows you to purchase a few additional weapons. Not armor. You get to buy the power spike for 8k

you can check the fextralife wiki for that, as far as I know they have all the known stats for most of the not-upgraded weapons.

I don't. I occasionally browse this thread for the community, and have been avoiding most spoilers now that early players are farther in the game than I want spoiled.

If I see people getting really excited I leave for a while, in case someone forgets spoiler tags.

I wanna know the upgraded stats before i jump in lol. I still have no idea what arcane or bloodtinge does. i've read that
the katana has s scaling maxed on one of the stats.

All spoiler threads are for discussing spoilers, not actually spoiling stuff in the open. Unless the OP states so.

Not many want to read about the end boss or plot twists without even having played the game. But if they want, they can click on the black bars.

In the trailer/impression threads you can't even discuss spoilers. That's why there are spoiler threads.

No.

Some of us dont mind certain parts spoiled while others do. Its called being courteous.
i dont mind being spoiled on weapons or stats but i would pull my hair out if i saw boss spoilers. It takes literally 3 seconds to highlight your text and add the spoiler tag.

if you quit the game (not sure if going back to hunter's dream works) and then go back to where he was the drop should be still there.

probably S in bloodtinge, but where did you read that?
they're both stats used for scaling, bloodtinge also for guns' damage and arcane for some fire-based items and probably more.

Well let me make the trek back to the top of the tower.... since it was not were it dropped (the unreachable place)

Edit: Went back up and the drop was there. Thank you.
