Pretty sure level scaling has not been a thing in the Souls games, should be the same
Unless there's a trick weapon that becomes two axes, no. There's no "proper" dual wielding in this game, weapons are classified as main hand and offhand weapons, you can't have two of the same thing unless it transforms into a dual wield weapon.

i see, thanks! i couldnt remember if demons souls scaled enemy levels and i didnt play the dark souls (just part of the first one) so i wasnt sure

they're both stats used for scaling, bloodtinge also for guns' damage and arcane for some fire-based items and probably more.

Any cool outfits for female characters? I've always found female build kind of cool in these games, but all the clothing seems "male" so far.

Later on in the game you get to collect umbilical cords, so I'm sure there's a reason, even if only a thematic one

I don't think I've seen a single female character created yet :lol. I always go female too, it's nice to have a game where you can have a female character without boob armour and such.

I'm just about to preorder mine.

Also to start the preload tomorrow once it goes live you just need to login to your US account, it should start downloading automatically, then you can switch back to your UK account and it will carry on downloading.

I'm still stumped on where to go after
beating electric beast. Last thing that I saw was a HUGE spider on a building and now its gone.

It's got a C scaling with Skill so pick a class with the highest starting skill i guess.
 
does the 2gig patch increase performance dramatically? because I just played for half an hour and the framerate is not the "stable 30fps for the most parts" I heard people claim.
 
Can anyone tell me if its possible to mess the character build in bloodborne?

I am new to myazaki games and so have no idea how to handle the character classes and skill points

Any tips?

It doesn't appear to be a performance patch. Several streamers have also commented on the framerate being less than ideal from time to time, but nowhere near as bad as entire regions in Dark Souls.

It's bad to do a jack of all trades character by leveling all stats equally.

Weapons have one or more stats that they scale with and they scale from E (worst), through D, C, B, A and S (best).

So if for example you have a weapon with Strength scaling, focus on Str (and Vitality and Endurance is important no matter what weapon you have.)
 
Omfg cleric beast...

What a rush...had it down to like 2% and died running out of potions, but what a great fight, loved how it suddenly used different attacks, was terrified the whole fight by its screams. Never had that in any of the souls games to be honest. If this is the first boss fight then boy I cant wait for more to come...

guess it's because I've never played a souls game on console.
I would say 30 fps is an exception, it even drops in hunter's dream.
maybe it's because the game is installing in the background?

also the camera seems strage, as if it is just a bit off from center.
best thing so far is definitely the sound design.
 
Dang, it looks like for the two weapons I want to switch between one is heavily STR based and the other heavily SKL based.

I guess a quality build will be fine.

That's probably it.

When you hear "stable framerate" describing a console Souls game, consider it as being "the framerate stays in a playable threshold"

I used the item the boss drops to open a door to the forest area.

Dat Stream quality. Colours look so much better than any previous stream. And the framerate is better too :D.

Edit: Is that the threaded cane? Castlevania killer confirmed. I see the chat is slowy degenerating into the mess that was Mobius' stream last night.
