as a newcomer to the souls series, these streams are helping me out a ton. Now I know how to approach the game. I'm a hack n slasher, but now I know what's up.
 
I'm just so torn what to do when you beat boss #2 :(... haven't seen anything past it!

Tks for the stream, been with you since this morning. Really made the game take on a new life of its own with all the comments telling you how to get past bosses.

Good times ahead, I'm hearing CD is going to be sick!

Got through the gate at the top of the area past the stairs where you fight the boss. Opens a new area that he drops the key for.

I saw someone buy it from Bath messengers in Hunters Dream. Not the usual one, but one near the top of the house.
 
Man, I am enjoying the hell out of these streams. I'm completely new to the series, but the game is clearly a labor of love by the developers...but I fear my enjoyment of this game will be limited to watching it played by the hand of a skilled/dedicated gamer. In my old age, my ability to get my arse handed to me over and over and keep coming back for more has gone by the wayside. Sooo, decisions, decisions and such.

Oh, I don't have the game yet :lol I'm watching Mendrox stream and I'm unsure if I should stay in the stream after he defeats Father
 
Cleric Beast wasn't bad at all. Pretty easy to dodge and no real punishment if you kept your distance from him. Probably a taste for things to come.

I'm loving your stream. Early game = learning the basics without seeing anything spoiled.

Based on your experience, I think I'm going with a strength build and rolling with the kirkhammer. Violent Past or Military Veteran to start.

I love hearing the enemies muttering to themselves and other little sound touches. There is a strange negativity to this game in the PS Live streams

Yeah, you can speed run DeS/DS in that amount of time.
I think I cleared DS in 35 1st time, then just barely less than 15 the next time around.
The longest Souls series was DS2 even on a 2nd playthrough.
So I won't be surprised if someone would beat BB in 20hrs in the long run.

But right now, from all the 15hrs stream. I highly doubt majority of us can beat it in 20 on 1st playthrough.

I can't take it! aghhh!

having trouble working on my own STUPID STUPID CRAP game. just want to bloodborne. :(

I have caved in and sorta watched some streams, but I've drawn a hard line and only am allowing myself to watch players who are not beyond the first three bosses (or, at least what I believe to be the first three bosses -- they are the only bosses I am aware of so far --
cleric beast, the werewolf dude, and the blood starved beast
)

The game is fucking amazing. It's like watching a tour of the most private fantasies of any person who is in love with dark souls.
 
Don't think I can bring myself to play this at daytime. The Souls games had some really great horror elements, but Bloodborne is on another level of unsettling.

Beat the Cleric Beast last night, game continues to be absolutely incredible. I think my playtime is likely going to be doubled from the estimated 40 hours because I'm constantly stopping and panning the camera around to take in the amazing atmosphere.
 
Really interested to see how the
time of day changes
are gonna affect areas you've already cleared out. I'd be amazed if there aren't any goodies or secrets that can only be found at certain times.
 
Do we know when the embargo is up and when reviews can drop? Looking forward to the GB quicklook and review, but have no idea when it'll be on Mondau
 
So the people here that have the game, are the graphics good and detailed? Can't really tell in streams. It's what's going to get me to pull the trigger on the preorder.

Well 2 things we saw on stream ( NPC related) :
NPC's in the house won't talk to you at night. Also one near the first lamp in Yarnham ( Gilbert?) transforms into a beast at night.
 
Publisher should allow two release day if the game is ready to sell.

Premium release day: $70-80.00 to play it early
Regular release day: $60.00

With the pre-order culture, they will make a lot of money on the extra 'early rate tax'.
