It's worth noting that you can purchase blood vials for blood echoes.

Not to mention the whole "estus" thing is tied up in Dark Souls mythology. You want estus flasks, you'll get them in Dark Souls 3.

Every stream I've seen, even from people dying for hours on the same Chalice boss, has had full blood vials at all times and most enemies drop them. I don't think it'll be much of an issue.

It's probably similar to Demon Souls and grass. Easy to farm locations plus a vendor that sells them.

Yeah, so if you do a single farming run for example, you'll get blood vials from enemies in addition to numerous blood echoes you can use to buy more. You can also purchase quicksilver bullets and molotovs. Those are all purchasable from the very beginning of the game.
