Load times are horrible.
Specters don't really seem to work right now.
Load times are horrible.
Just this:
I'm enjoying this more than Demon's Souls already. Reached the first lantern, got enough blood echoes to grab the first 4 pieces of gear, decided to call it a night. The only thing I don't like so far is when an enemy gets the jump on me... I always squeal like a little girl. The worst one is when I read a note that literally said "ambush" and I thought I was clever by immediately taking the guy out... only to get another jumpscare from another dude hiding on a staircase right next to me.
Also... the enemies don't respawn after you've killed them, right? I feel like they don't but sometimes I get surprised by someone running into me in a spot I thought I cleared out. Maybe I just suck though.
There is any loading times fix?
I must be the only one not bothered by the load times =\
I'm sure they'll patch the load times eventually.
Anyone else getting "starting game in offline mode since it's not fully installed?"
In my download list it shows bloodborne as installed and the update file as installed.....
Is there somewhere you can see if a game is being installed or not??
Yeah, either the lanterns are very well hidden or they're spaced a bit far apart so far. Not a big deal so far but it is noticeable.
Here I am all bloodied up after having escaped from the giant wolf in the beginnning, which put me up against my first two foes that you see on the ground, dead. I still havn't found a damn weapon, though!!

How long are they roughly?
So errr, how do you level up? Is it the memory altar that I don't have the right tool for yet? Gotta spend these echos!
The problem is the lanterns are way too far spread out. I got to the werewolves and died, and now I'm all the way back. That's a lot of time lost.
Lost 60k about 15 minutes ago.Just lost 5k souls gg
jesus
arent you supposed to die to the wolf so you can get your weapons?
to all the players playing right now how many times have you guys died yet
You either die or get to the first lantern.jesus

Whaaat? I saw a giant wolf in front of me and he was pouncing on me, I dodged and just ran the fuck away. Didn't want to get killed right at the beginning. Well fuck me lol that's a weird way to give you your first weapon.
Though I guess it is similar to the way Demon's Souls started. But I'm mostly sure that you still had a weapon on you when you "had" to die at that point.

So...help me out here guys, this is my first "souls" type game. I went back to the alter after killing most the grunts on the ground, and there was the guy in the chair talking about the alter.
Well, I was being silly and swung my axe around and he disappeared...so..uh, am I screwed, do I need to start over or what?
Cleric boss is fucking hard
just opened a shortcut to the left of first latern. feels good!
Did you exit the game and then go back in? Did the guy say anything when you hit him? In Souls games, you can attack and anger NPCs to the point that they will permanently be aggro'd and you'll have to kill them. You usually could get away by hitting them once by accident, and they'd complain. But do it too many times and they will start to fight back.
meep one sec
How much is the game in the US SEN store? Is it the usual 59,99?
If you get to the hub you'll be able to get your weapons anyway, just find a lantern.
