I didn't read the threads or reviews. Getting my copy tomorrow. Can someone please tell if the game is still difficult and that they didn't add any mainstream concessions? The reason I ask is because of so much advertisement. Basically, is it still the souls game we know and love?
Once you stun- then what? R1 r2 or charged r2?
It's insight. Sort of like humanity in dark souls.can someone answer this please? It's the thing on the upper right side of the HUD under your blood echoes count
In whip mode the cane is super easy To use.
Throw peggles and pull'em one by oneEveryone seems to be haVing an easy go of things. I'm still dying to villagers once they group on me :/
It's streamlined in the sense they removed stuff like shield turtling, bows and grinding for different rocks/shards if you want to try different weapons. If you liked melee combat in Souls you're golden here.
UK peps.
I am really really really worried that "The Game Collection" wont deliver my package on time !!
How are they with deliveries ?? Should I just cancel my pre order from them and go to the mid night launch ?

Nice. Thanks.walk up close and tap R1. will do the riposte automatically
if you're too far out you'll just do a normal attack, still a bit more damage but not the whole shebang.
I know you need it for co-op, but not sure what else. I don't have the game yet.Oh I see, so what can i do with it? or what does it mean?
Going by Souls history, I don't think it is RNG.Is stunning a skill or is it a dice roll?
Has anyone had success with the cane yet? Or is it just really weak.
yup, it does less damage even with the initial Skill build. you need to bring it at +2 or +3 (if +3 it gets B in Skill scaling) to do some decent damage.Started with the Cane and couldn't even take down the two werewolves on the bridge. Restarted with the Saw Cleaver and beat the Cleric Beast first time. Cane = Hard Mode, for me at least.
- I really can't fucking roll while having the lock-on? If true I feel like it's going to be a problem, at least for me.
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it.I was going to choose the Threaded Cane as my weapon, since I'm interested in the Skill-type build, but I might go with the Saw Cleaver instead. I've heard more than a few people say how poor the Threaded Cane is for the first boss. :/
Hmm, don't options being removed, but can't say I enjoyed grinding for shards. Melee combat was my favorite; so, that's nice to hear.
not a game for me...stuck on first boss on first phase and i used 20 potions, did this like 20 times already so im think im legit done
Axe. Good damage and cleave for beginners.Any consensus on a best starting weapon? I hate to be that guy, but whatever.

Blunderbuss.
Nice. Thanks.
So is the stun someone you can do every time w perfect timing? Or is it a dice roll
it was for me too - its like learning to ride a bike all over again. just keep at it - I ended up perfecting its use in the third boss fight and I LOVE the change now.
You can do co-op, invade others and be invaded.worth spending for PS+ for this game? is the online feature important?
i havent renewed since the first year i got my ps4..
They added things to balance things taken out, though. I personally think that several of Bloodborne weapons are so much better than anything in souls. They look better, are more useful in different situations and feel really badass.
about those 2 weapons, you can get only one early in the game.So I take STR and SKL are both equal and useful, unlike DS2 where DEX scaled worse?
Still unsure on what to focus, my fav. Weaponsare from diferent stats lolgreatsword and scythe
Damn.... Quiting already? What a waste of money. At least put it down for a day and give it another shot.
so what do you do now, roll without lock-on or don't roll at all?
Everyone seems to be haVing an easy go of things. I'm still dying to villagers once they group on me :/
Do the regular enemies drop bloodstone shards before the first boss?

Taking my first break after a solid 6 hours in which I found the, defeated the Cleric Beast on my first attempt with a +1 Cane and Pistol, then got my ass kicked by the good Priest.Hunter set in the lower part of the starting section
What a game. What a game.
Awh damnit, such a cool weapon.I am having some issues with it against bigger enemies, I'm thinking about restarting with the axe or saw.
