Some quick and dirty playthrough uploads from last night. First time through, so its slow and methodical and just taking everything in. Well .. everything is slow except the combat lol, which takes you by surprise sometimes. So used to Souls games man. So used to having a moment to gather yourself usually. But in this game, enemies are viscious and fast and brutal

Stupid non-ww release dates, it's like being back in the dark ages of the 90's. Is there a consensus on on a character build for a player with no Soul's experience? I'm gonna give the game all the time in the world but wanna make it as relatively easy on myself as possible.

and backed out to cash some echoes. I am excited to see what this gem system offers later, they seem to be dropping like candy. Not really too worried about upgrading weapons, at least in these early stages upgrade mats are frequent enough (and seem to be farmable) to upgrade whatever weapons you want fairly comfortably.

It is very, very good. And about loading times, yes they are very long, but I personally found the atmosphere so oppressing that after dying I need a rest. Not saying that they couldn't be better, but if you like to take things calmed, this won't bother you too much. Weapons and animations are fantastic and the core Souls saga gameplay is there.

So...just came home to start my download. Wasn't available yet before I went to work this morning.
That PSN download Speed is killing me though. Estimated over 3 hours for the initial 5 gigs. :/ Hope it gets faster so I can play when it's unlocked.(EU here btw.)

huh I got a german early copy and could connect to the server just fine today, only sat in the main menu though and haven't tried loading a save.
switched the saw something something for the axe and everyone was a lot easier

- Pebbles are super useful, I would suggest any one who is new to the series use that for crowd control as I was able to clear the starting mob pretty efficiently going one to two at a time.
-The big guys are super weak to moltovs, could have saved me a death but whats a souls experience without learning through action?
-Atmosphere is amazing and the audio work on this game is completely ridiculous. The laughing citizens early on freaked me out for a good minute.
-I had an issue with peoples blood stains not spawing their phantoms did this happen to any one else? Not sure if this was just a bug or what.

I thought I was clever finding a shortcut through the sewers and got absolutely wrecked by some crazy ambush. What kills me the most is had I just stayed out of the sewer I would have unlocked the shortcut to the first boss and not lose 2000 BE. Welcome indeed.

Started off with the threaded cane. It was eating through mobs in its transformation mode (chain whip). Got to the boss and it was absolutely terrible for damage. Rolled a new character with the axe and loving it. The saw cleaver is probably the most balanced starting weapon but the axe just destroys everything. That transformation-extend L2 swipe is insane for clearing multiple enemies in one/two hits.

I got to the
machine gun guy and knocked him off the side with the shotgun, as some people suggested (and signs everywhere suggested). I thought it was like dark souls and he'd be dead, but apparently he's running around the ground level now. I tried to duel him and got my ass cleaned out. I'll have to come back later. if he's still there.
I'm torn when it comes to this game. On one hand, I really loved Demon's Souls and even got the platinum trophy for it. On the other hand I never got very far into Dark Souls, even though I tried repeatedly. I guess the gameplay changes never really did it for me.
It's been a long time since I played Demon's Souls and I would like to play something like it again. Would you recommend Bloodborne even though Dark Souls never tickled my fancy?

Professional is amazing for cane I am finding
Wow the remote play controls are context sensitive (changes on the character creator). Also what a huge difference having a faster upload on my home broadband made. Went from 20mbps down 1up to 80down 20up. Currently on lunch break and connecting to my ps4 over the net, zero lag it feels like and no artifacts.
