Requires good reflexes if you plan to solo all bosses. But luckily you can summon and get carried to avoid that. Aside that the main thing it requires is patience. The guides will help you find the shortcuts right away, which if the first area is any indication will save you a ton of frustration. You still have to overcome the trash mobs on your own. Not hard, but will require some time dying to come up with strategies for each area.
Fwiw I played demons souls and hated it because it was too hard. Gave dark souls another chance and fell in love. The main quality you need is patience and an understanding that even if it's taking you 2 hours and you can't reach the next checkpoint, it's still progress if you can just clear one more group of enemies, or get an enemy down to lower health. And the more times you go through it, you get faster at clearing up to the point you're stuck.
It might be worth trying to find other ps4 games to help justify your purchase in case Bloodborne doesn't do it for you. Check out Resogun, Fez 2, Jamestown+, and Pavillion for example.
