Man, this fucking game guys. What a fucking masterpiece! I hope I get the same feeling when I play Witcher 3 and MGSV.

One of the things I love is the insight mechanic, you are basically seeing all this crazy lovecraftian shit and your mind can't possibly make sense of what's going on. You are slowly going insane basically, and becoming more accepting of the ideas and things presented to you as you gain insight, as you spend insight it's like you are coming to grips with what your situation is.

Honestly, I am just amazed by this game and I love the lore I've learned so far kind of just running around confused after
fighting Gascoigne and a bunch of huge axe wielding giant dudes, and another with a wrecking ball for a weapon. The fights in this game are insane, even the minor encounters with the cultists are exciting.

Now I can fight like The Crow!

Second boss spoilers

Oh hey Father G isn't too bad, sure he got a little more agress-OH WHAT THE FUCK *dead*

Time to start grinding for bullets ;_;

Jesus christ,
Gatling Guy
is wiping the floor with me. His stupid shotgun is wiping out a huge chunk of my health and my hits aren't doing anything.

I guess I'm not ready for him yet but I opened a shortcut underneath him and it didn't lead anywhere...
It leads to
a boss fight

That is where I am. He decimates me.

Skip the guy if you cant blast him off the roof. There is a path you missed through the shortcut you opened

Definitely. The first few times I fought him I was trying to get it done quick and dirty. I was going immediately for the eyes (they are the crotch of the face, after all) and figuring I could take him out with a could crits and some moltovs.

Whacking at his ass over a period of 3-4 minutes was much easier.

yeah, I finally whacked him too. Unlocking the shortcut was a big change for me. Helped out alot in letting me farm for souls and making it easy to get to the boss for a few shots at him.

thread is moving so fast, we'll get to OT2 by tomorrow. holy fuck

He's down a side path off of the Grand Cathedral plaza. The password is in a cut scene after Amelia
thank you.
that's really the password?
I honestly didin't notice it during the cutscene, really nice though.

there are much more cutscenes than the other souls games, cool stuff.

Just took down
Vicar Amelia
. Didn't expect the boss to start healing. Is my next destination
Hemwick Lane
my next destination?

Second boss down! I feel like I'm on ecstasy.

Game has been easy up until that boss. Think I was under leveled, and I kept screwing up the timing since I'm tired.

Holy shit played for 2.5 hours and somehow got stuck in the sewers pass the
wolves (anyway to beat them easily without Fire?)
, I have clue where I am going but the game is great

I was thinking about getting the cane but you guys are making me change my mind.
No cane love here ?!
I really wanna use the cane tho .

Noble Scion + Cane is just wrecking the damn game, I love playing with the cane so much I haven't even tried the other weapons.

I'm glad too, From makes amazing cutscenes.

Wait there's this armor in the sewer i can find? where?

When on the bridge with the wolves there's a side area that you can go into. When there go through some barrels to reveal a pit, and then climb down the ladders to reach the sewer. At this point keep dropping down until you reach the rats and then follow the path to the end.

Seriously I have come across so many differing opinions. For someone who sucks at these games what is the best origin/weapons to use. I really want to give this a fair shot.

Climb his tower. Shoot him with a pistol as soon as you get to the top, till he falls off his tower. Quit and reload to get his gear. Super easy fight.

...that is far simpler than I expected. Went up against him and I got wrecked, could barely scratch him with my cane.

Just $7.80 short of picking this up on PSN (that flash sale was too good! ) gonna be the longest 7 days wait ever to payday, but Im glad to know everyones enjoying it!!

Ugh, my L2 button is getting stuck and the R1 button on my other controller sometimes gets stuck.

Looks like I'm going to have to pick up a third controller.

There's a way to make him your ally if you're wearing the black church outfit, or whatever it's called.

Killed the second boss an hour ago. Got hunter garb and got grabbed by some invisible thing. Wtf. :O

Ugh I want to buy this so bad but have spent way too much money on games the last two month. Digital for me. For damn sure.

I think I'll cancel my Batman for this.

I have no idea how the system of retrieving blood echoes works. Sometimes it's where I died, sometimes I have to kill an enemy to retrieve them.

Also, screw
Father G. I found an easy way to dodge him by keeping the graves between us, but that third form...

I feel like after I spend all my Blood Echoes on leveling up and upgrading weapons, I am a lot more confident playing suicidal because I don't have anything to lose!
