Is the shortcut in the starting area before the first bossbefore or after the werewolves on the bridge? Also the gate you guys are talking about is the one to the left right next to the lamp? Cause I did open a gate but it was the one that was next to the big guy banging on the door. Which wasn't that close to the boss I don't think. I think I might stumble into a high rank area looking for this shortcut, lol.
Its terrible. I can get him down to his other form no problem consistently, then everything just freaks the fuck out.
It's blood bullets. Very useful stuff. Just use it before an enemy so you can instantly regain the lost health.
Anyone know how far into the game it is before we get another proper Skill weapon. The cane is great, but I'd love to see another weapon and I'm already past 4 bosses.
Hm, so they make my firearm stronger? They use up just my health and nothing else? What does it do? Buff my shots?
I destroyed Father G and it felt amazing
surprised people have trouble with him
Man the Saw Spears moveset was way different from what i thought it was going to be
The beginning is definitely harder. After the second boss the difficulty curve levels off to normal Souls levels. My CE won't arrive until Friday night thanks to amazon's screw up. Meanwhile i have a question:
How does Bloodborne's difficulty stack up against Demon's and Dark Souls?

Where do extra bullets you pick up go?
Wow, just found ain Old Yharnam. The goodies in this game are really well hidden!Rifle Spear and some Charred Hunter stuff
I'm having trouble understanding a few things.
-Right Weapon Attack 1,2
-Weapon Stagger, is that represented somewhere in stats or is it just based on weapon type (eg, kirkhammer has heavy stagger)
It's around there:on that upper ledge where that big dude banging on the door is. Before you go down near that fountain (where some crows are), there is a door with some women laughing. But to the left of that door is a drop down where there are a bunch of dogs in cages. Jump down and then go left instead of right, and it wraps around to a building with a door you must open.
Thanks bloodbro; There's an area where you fight another Hunter (not gatling gun guy), on that area go to the corner where there's some crows. Drop off that ledge and drop from ledge to ledge and you'll see an open door. Go through there and on the second level there's gonna be a body with the weapon. Be careful cause there's a ton of enemies, but you can run past them all

Storage in Hunter's Dream.
There's an amazing weapon you can obtain that (eventually) scales to B in STR, SKL, & ARC!
It has some of the most useful movesets I've seen in a Souls game.
It's to the right path of the Cathedral Ward, up the elevator. You'll get to a tower that you can scale up. Radiant Sword Hunter Badge is found in chest at the top.
With this you can buy Ludwig's Holy Blade from the vendor in Hunter's Dream for 20,000.

This is a souls game , think it happens only when you stand next to that specific grave. There is a spot later on in the game that it happens again.
Hmm weird, I definitely picked up extras and storage is empty. Does it auto equip the extras when you run out?
Damn I suck
It's so weird getting used to not having a shield. It makes you realise how that was such a big part of the game.
You mean as a basal matter? R1 is light attack and R2 is heavy attack.
Enjoying this, but the parrying with the gun seems off. It doesnt always work, especially on bosses. I hit them, point blank, when they are winding up for an attack, and it works, and sometimes it doesnt.
Just me?
Haha might of been me! Probably not though.Wow just summoned someone for the 2nd boss and the dude was godly. Beat him in 15 seconds no joke
Pretty sure it'll put them in your personal inventory after death (if there's space).
Cleric Beast, I almost had you!

huh? Souls game?
If you get to a certain point in the game those areas will make sense.
I still think it's a glitch though.
From what I've seen from streams, it gives you halve the Blood Echoes (splits with host?) and an insight for helping.Haha might of been me! Probably not though.
Does helping people get you anything? I accidentally used all my cocktails haha
I can already buy this, it scales to B in all 3? Damn I haven't been building for effiency so I don't have enough strength.
You can play similar in DeS/DaS (II). Many players run with very light amor and only two handed, without shield. Once you played the games so long that you know the reach/attacks movements of the enemies, there is no need for shields.
I still think it's a glitch though.
yup, here's the description. still on the product page:
