You just stand close in front of them and press R1.
Thanks y'all. I beat big blade in his rotunda in 10 seconds instead of 1 minute.Immediately walk up to the enemy until you're basically touching and hit R1.

There's an amazing weapon you can obtain that (eventually) scales to B in STR, SKL, & ARC!
It has some of the most useful movesets I've seen in a Souls game.
It's to the right path of the Cathedral Ward, up the elevator. You'll get to a tower that you can scale up. Radiant Sword Hunter Badge is found in chest at the top.
With this you can buy Ludwig's Holy Blade from the vendor in Hunter's Dream for 20,000.
From what I've seen from streams, it gives you halve the Blood Echoes (splits with host?) and an insight for helping.
What transformation are you guys using mostly on your weapon? I have the clever and find myself using the quick saw(folded up) instead of the slower long range clever. I like how it gives you an option on the fly to diversify.
It looks like a spell is being cast, I nearly got hit by it my first time.
I cant believe how amazing this game is. The bosses are kind of meh so far, but loving the environments
Sweet! I wasn't sure how many I had before haha. Thanks! From what I've seen from streams, it gives you halve the Blood Echoes (splits with host?) and an insight for helping.
I actually beat him my first tryalmost beat Father G first try completely blind then i got stuck and died to his jump attack, he was so low on health, ugh. beat him second try and got all my blood echoes back. but man, i wanted to have a nice archive of my first try kill against him. heard he's hard for a lot of people. i didn't have much trouble with him for some reason.
I am almost certain those using the Hunter's Axe are spending 90% of the time with it in the 2-handed state, because that's what I did when using it. The 2-handed mode is ridiculously useful for fighting normal enemies. What transformation are you guys using mostly on your weapon? Actually it is an issue in the sense that not being able to pause is a deliberate choice that greatly heightens the tension. Of course, people will still insist the oddest things like the devs must have 'forgotten' a pause feature, they were too lazy, or they suck at designing games and had to add 'artificial difficulty'. Because pressing start and exit is apparently really difficult to do.The previous games didn't pause either. Its no issue really. Just perch on a ladder in a safe spot and set the controller down.
Guys How do I let other players summon me?
*looks* no top hat dlc skin in my package. I guess they'll email it to me later.
As someone who just did this, do you enjoy any of the following games:
Super Metroid
Resident Evil 4
Rogue Legacy
Hotline Miami
This got me lolCleric Beast, I almost had you!

I got him on my first try as well, but it was very close. Great battle.
Hell, all of the boss battles have been pretty great so far. Most of them have been following the Flamelurker template of relentlessness and an enrage mode when low on health (further solidifying the epic failure of GameTrailer's top 10 Souls boss list). Love it.
At what level does it start to scale that high? Looks like it starts at D-level.
You have to use the resonant bell from the fountain up near the house on the ledge. You need to have 10 insight in your possession before you can buy it.
If it's a spell, the spell caster is invisible.
How can I Sunbro? The bell only says it calls others to help. Also, it seems I only have 7 Insight, how is anyone getting 10 to coop on the early boases?
I actually beat him my first try
Skill? Probably not.
Luck? Definitely.
I was able to get to 10 after defeating the 2nd boss.
Speaking of which,, it makes me really sad there isn't an actual spear moveset. Any type of transforming spear would have been awesome

i still haven't received the email either but i just found it in the game and it has weaker stats than what i'm wearing so not a big loss.
Do you have Madman's Knowledge Items? They give you an insight for each you use.
Exactly. Not a glitch.
I expected a thrusting weapon but the basic weapon is just the Saw Cleaver and transformed its kinda a great sword because of the horizontal sweep
Lol the npc in the forest,it's not hard to understand that he's gonna murder everyone if you tell him about the cathedral or clinic.
That's what I figured, but I have heard people coop the 2nd boss. Not sure how that is possible.
People that had no issues with Father G whatsoever: what weapons are you using? How did you handleOn my successful run I used thehis final form?and was able to back stab which left him with like 3% health left. All other attempts I tried to use cane and hammer and would get absolutely curb stomped at the last part.music box on his beast form
I haven't played Rogue Legacy or Hotline Miami, loved both Super Metroid and Resident Evil 4!

Because you can still help other people beat a boss your already have. Just don't level up after beating boss.
So I've reasoned that skill is just another weapon scaling thing (I'm assuming the Bloodborne equivalent of Dex), but what are Arcane and Bloodtinge?
Very nicely done on the first boss there, impressive.
You can backstab him? I have been trying to pistol stun him to varying success, but mostly failure.
Ah, ok. Is there a separate bell for being summoned?

Gain insight by entering Boss arenas (+1)
Gain insight by beating bosses (+3)
Gain insight by consuming a Madman's Skull (+1)
After using theI had plenty of time to setup a backstab with the hammer and absolutely destroyed him. I think I only had to hit him one last time for the kill.music box to stun him when he became a beast
