, I throwed the machinw gun hunter from the Tower and fought trough the church/cathredal and opened the shortcut

You need it, buy it.

The door is:

Cathedral ward, exit through the left door, go right and up the stairs. Go past the big guy with the axe and further up the stairs. The gate there needs it (at least, I think it was that gate).

I thought it was pretty easy to get him to his werewolf state just by dodging and using the trees and obstacles to play keep away. That's when shit gets cray though.

I believe you actually need that to progress if I'm remeber correctly. It could jus tbe a easier route though. I can't recall.

Yeah that's it. One gate is right at the start of the lamp to the right. The other is from a location right near the boss and it takes you to the elevator in the windmill.

I don't think so, but there is a shortcut that, if you sprint through, gets you there really quick:

It opens up a new area near the cathedral.

Did you play DS1? If so, it's like the Crest of Artorias. It's an expensive key (at this point in the game), but it makes it getting to the next area very easy.

You can bypass needing the key by going through a different area and opening a short cut, but it's a lot more dangerous.

You need it, buy it.

Later on you can send her to the clinic or the cathedral, but only if you don't give her the red brooch (found on the Father G area). I sent her to the cathedral, but she never got there...

I need more info on this. Is it implied which solution is better? Not sure if I should give her the brooch...

Also, is there a list of people we can send to the clinic?

And I'm pretty sure it's the latticed stone that caused them to become visibile in my game. The very first time I saw one in the flesh was the one that takes you to the Nightmare. So scary looking.

You only need the 10 insight to get the item to BE summoned. You get the bell to summon with only one. Once you have the 10 insight bell though, you can go back and be summoned even for bosses you've already killed.

Are you using the GAF password, if so delete it, maybe not many on. If not, maybe try it?

The Father G that I fought almost never let up that much at the end. Never. It's like a different boss.

I don't know, but i have killed 3 out of 4 bosses so far in my first try. I think you have to play it safe at the end.

edit: I remembered that he almost killed me at the end, check at minute 4 in the video.

Insight is pretty scarce at first though, but now I have 60+.

I travelled through Central Yarnham, killing all I could see, and got to the big bridge with the black dogs. I took the side route instead, ended up in the sewers, and found the madman's item for insight. Then I opened a gate that let me retrace some steps and got back to the lantern.

Jesus that nearly killed my heart! It's a shortcut but not a great one. I still have to kill a big mob and a brick troll before getting back to the sewer ladder. I think I've missed a lantern or a shortcut inbetween but I don't know. I am pretty scared to go back.

I consumed the insight item and have a score of one now but the doll hasn't come to life. I don't know what I'm missing. I have over 3,000 echoes and am afraid to leave.

It's a great FROM software game so far!

Oh my god, I finally killed the effing Cleric Beast! I tried killing him like 20 times earlier today and now I did it in 1 try lol. Thank god, I was about to throw the controller out of the window at one point. Can't believe how much I suck. Now I just need to figure out where to go next. Hmm..

I've sent other people to the cathedral, they got there instantly. The girl not getting there might mean she got glitched on my game or something happened to her. I would give her the brooch.

So far, besides the girl, I sent the old lady there (from the house near the dog cages). And I also sent the prostitute there, you can find her in the cathedral ward.

I don't recommend sending them to the clinic:

Nah, playing coop is much more fun, even if it usually does make the bosses really easy.

Guess I might as well experiment with summoning a bit. See how far I can run until it stops trying to summon, etc.
