I keep seeing people say this and I don't get it. Are you connected via Wi-Fi? I'm hardwired and get near my connection limit of 125 Mbps. I think the game, patch, and mini soundtrack took a total of maybe 10 minutes.

The WiFi on the PS4 blows though.

Nope, hardwired. The PS4's network test says I'm getting almost the full 100 Mb. Maybe Sony just has really shitty Nordic/Finnish servers.

Nothing comes close. It might have the single best moveset of any weapon in the Souls series.

Durp. Just started the game. Didn't realize when you got to hunters dream you could get a weapon. Was like wtf do I do?! Mobs of enemies and all I got is my hands!

What's the stats on your weapon and how are you fighting her? If you can, just upgrade your weapon to +3 or so and just stick on her butt. Just dodge to the right and stay on her like a bad habit. Seriously, be insanely close to her. If you ever see her do that double fist slam, you're too far away.

Yeah I have the threaded cane +3 I know to stay close to her but I feel like she's hitting me all the fucking time. When I'm behind her she does the spin claw attack and literally fuck me up hard.

A question about co-op.

IF I invade another players game and we beat a boss... do I get credit for killing the boss in my game or is it just the person that I am helping?

I believe that if the host reaches a boss room, the invader is automatically booted from the session

It's a FROM Software game, there's always that one area. Shame, cause it looks pretty neat, now I'm just gonna end up running through it thanks to the bad performance.

Think for most of us the game hasn't opened up with many options yet... even 3 bosses in it seems like only the tip of the iceburg.

There's a lot less diversity in this game, compared to others in the Souls series.

You are pretty much forced to play melee as magic and archery are basically non-existent.

That could be it. East Coast US has always given me at least 8 MB/s on slow days. I do see this complaint more often from Euro GAFers.

Anyone know how rare the upgrade items are? Don't wanna get into that point I use them to upgrade a starter weapon a few levels just to find out I'll have to go through hoops to get more for a permanent weapon.

if you mean co-op, you are entering his world. Your world will remain the same and the boss will not be beat.

If you are the host, you of course get credit for the kill.

8ve reached the point of frustration where I think I'm done with this game

I'm giving vicar amelia everything I got and it's not enough been attempting her for 3 hours now and I'm not getting anywhere.

You can summon help for her. You need to buy the key from the shop and open up the other gate for the bell to work for some reason.

There's magic, but it's not unlocked until about halfway or 3/4 though the game. You can't start with magic.

My Vicar Amelia fight. I was probably over-leveled by this point since I spent a lot of time exploring and some time doing chalices, but damn if I didn't feel like a badass.

While I agree there is less, it gets a bit better as you continue. The options just aren't quite as obvious since trick weapons are going to be what most people are drawn to naturally.

You can do both "first bosses" in either order. There is no real "first boss"

Still seems to be up in the air. My theory is that you both need to be in the same Chalice dungeon, and then ring your bells. So one player creates a dungeon and shares it, the other searches and joins, and then you both play coop. I don't think you can do it with randoms.

There's a hunter to the right path of Vicar with one of those electric mace things. Kill them and you should get an item that buffs it.
