Go right, do down the stairs and then go to the group of enemies on the back side, not the ones going forward to the fire camp reunion. If you already unlock that door the go to the right and it would be a house with a candle leading to some stairs thats the house. If you see the doors locked then you have to the long way going to the sewers and unlock the ladders where you can see the windows with the candle.

the starting weapons are not available,

The saw spear isn't there either, the only weapons I have showing are ludwigs rifle and ludwigs sword, the repeater, the flamespayer, kirkhammer, repeating pistol, and hunters torch.

I haven't missed any bosses yet and I'm headed towards the
witch boss / wolf boss in the cathedral ward

As far as badges, the only badges that have dropped for me are Sword/Radiant Sword. I know I missed one in
Old Yharnam

I killed the guy with the
chain
gun. His loot is floating in the middle of emptiness. Can't reach it. Do I miss anything?

I also need to farm 40.000 echoes for blades of mercy. Lost 20k already :(

Someone probably already replied, but the way I did it was go right up the ladder and don't stop, if you stop near the top he will walk toward the ladder, but if you just bum rush him he'll stay in place and use his gun to try and shoot you, you wanna dodge that blast and then just wail on him with R1 attacks with a fast weapon, that should knock him off the edge.

Music box didn't work

Finally, after 6 hours I have beat the first two bosses :)
 
Eileen Quest question:

So she died by accident during the fight where Father G was. I guess there's no way to continue the quest now? Anyone know what I'm going to be missing out on now that I can't continue the quest?

That's weird. I've been there, and I thought I fully explored that area.
So if I understand correctly there's a ladder up *out* of the sewers that takes you back to the surface? I even found that too. I guess I'll go check again. If I'm not mistaken this ladder out also leads to unlocking a shortcut which opens up into the guy banging on the door to the bonfire?
 
Beat the Cleric Beast my first try, but
Father
gave me some trouble. I realized that the best way to handle his
beast mode
is to dodge forward. I'm having a blast so far.
 
So I just discovered the greatness of running the internet to my ps4 via electrical outlet as opposed to my crappy wifi. I was going to use the crap wifi as my excuse to play BB offline. Welp, can't do that now, lol.

So how often are you all getting invasions?

Did you
kill the giant pig in the sewers? Once you kill him you can purchase the other starter weapons, and you also find the saw spear in the same sewer. Its hanging from the rafters, you need cut it down then you can go down and collect it.

Ah. So the new vendor will only show up when I have 10 ACTIVE insights (as shown in the upper right cover of the screen)? Can I just use the stock insights to boost up the number? Or I have to get insights via the "legit" way? I have 8 active insight now and a bunch in my inventory. I actually don't know how I gained those 8 insights...

My wheelchair guy disappeared and now there's just a note in his place... unsure if story related or I accidentally melee'd him. But one melee won't kill early in the game. I hit the doll with a melee R2 when setting down my controller and it did like 60% damage to her. lol

Wait, if you unlock the doll then use all your insight, she will vanish and you cannot level up? I have one left and THANK GOD I did not use it last night. Can you farm insight? I heard from rats in sewer? is that true?

Yes your insight level has to be 10 or higher. You can use the madmen's items to get more if you want.
 
Yoshi seeing you rage quit is rather sad. I did it too my man. Just get behind the boss and use the R2 Hammer charging - she will get stunlocked after two times and wont do shit.

I recorded the first episode the night of release and was pretty sleepy, so I apologize for that. I also have some weapon and attire showcase vids in the pipeline for it. I've played about 10 hours of it so far, and can't wait to play more!
