Not having a shield causes occasional recklessness that gets me killed far more often than Dark Souls. Overall, I'm finding it easier, though. Easier to figure stuff out, I mean. Bloodborne feels far less cryptic, though I'm sure a lot of that has to do with DaS being my first Souls experience, with me now being used to some series tropes.Just killed the Cleric Beast after initially giving up, wandering around and finding boss Number 2.
This is a far harder opening than either Dark Souls games for me. I need my shield!
Quit and reload. When he fell to his death and died, did you get the emblem that unlocks the two new weapons at the shopkeeper still?
I dunno, guys. I've beaten Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. Got platinum on Demon's and Dark - and yet this game is just destroying me so hard that I'm not enjoying myself anymore. I really want to, but fighting this boss over and over is killing me. I've spent my entire day here and I've even broken my own rules and watched a video... and in the video the boss isn't even doing what it's doing on my end. On my end, he's doing like crazy 7+ hit flurries and shit.
You need to die from him once [or kill him] to gain the ability to upgrade stats. If you farm too much XP before that, you will not have anything worthwhile to spend it on. :-/

So burnt out from theIt is huge and I kept getting lost there. It's a miracle I somehow found the right way to go.
GUYS huge help regarding getting to Amelia which I didn't realize before, might help someone out if they were going down the scaffolds all this time like me!
the gate that you open up at the area right after you jump off the ledge from the elevator (after that alleyway with the reaper) opens a shortcut right into a courtyard, which leads to the Cathedral bonfire. So basically after you open that gate up on your first run through, you can go straight out of the Cathedral and up the huge staircase to the area just before her.
Maybe I was crazy for not knowing this, but I'm super happy to not have to drop down that pit anymore!!
Holy shit. That's awesome.
I'm having loads of problems with father G and I'm pretty much out of potions and bullets. Any tips for quick farming?
yeah I know I said earlier I found this game easy... I will eat crow for this.
I sent the little girl to the clinic. Oops?
There's a balcony around there with an item on it. How do you get it? £ I must knowwww!

Thanks, figure I'll do it as well then. Is the boss manageable straight after having defeated the blood starved beast?Grimløck;157474978 said:i just ran through everything except the grannies.
Stress causes carelessness. Constant breaks definitely improve the pace of my progress.Funny how you get endlessly beaten by a boss all night. Then you wake up the next day and best him your first attempt.
Screw you, Gascoigne.
So, GAF. How are summons today?
Oh wow, really? I guess I have to beat him then, since my echoes will be trapped in the boss battle.

I haven't even reached the 3rd boss yet and this is already the best game I've ever played. This is like the PS4's RE4.
anyone else feel cheap when using molotov cocktails? So far they work a little too well in the first main area of game.
Igave her the gem and died mid dialogue lol. When I came back, she was gone.

RE4 is my favorite game of all time. If Bloodborne's technical issues get fixed, it's going to seriously give it a run for its money. As it stands, it's easily a top 10 game for me.
That Kirkhammer R2 charge attack is so satisfying, especially when followed up by another R2. That last hit sends even fatties flying.
How do you get summoned into other people's games and what benefit is it to you besides helping somebody out?
Ashen Hunter set lookin pretty cool.
Really enjoying wailing on shit with the mace, but i'll see if it still feels this strong in later areas.Tonitrus
Killing Manus with a bow outside of his fog gate was a bit cheap. Also believe you could kill the first Maneater with a bow through the fog gate, also cheap.nothing is cheap in a Souls game
Is this your first "Souls" game?
Should I just sell attires that are worse? There are no cons in selling them?
