Yep when you reload the item will be at the top and you no longer need worry about him.

Alright Gaf ive given in and need some help/advice. (so first area spoilers)

I haven't been reading this thread at all since release because I wanted too explore first on my own and get a feel for it. Im currently still in the first area and have finished the Bridge Boss and lighted his lantern. So in Hunter's Dream I have at the first headstone unlocked the first 3 waypoints. This is where I need some help, spoilers follow:

I know where the Boss is that has the Axe and Gun, but my question is, is there anywhere else to go other than fighting him at the moment? I feel like ive been everywhere and he is all that is left but im still not ready to face him yet.

Any help with this would be most appreciated.

Also how does one get summoned? I understand how to summon someone but how do I get summoned by someone else?

If he's dead, he's dead. Just don't die before you pick up his stuff. If you already see his items down there, that's probably where they will be if you exit and come back.

Not liking how summoning works now. I rang the Small Resonant Bell and spent 10 minutes wasting my time trying to find the guy, who had already cleared the area and I was at the lamp. Wasted some blood vials on some werewolves. You should spawn where the host is.

Gotcha. Went ahead and put 1 stat into vit and end. Didn't want to use too many blood echoes.

Oh yes you do. When you die all of them are lost. On your next life you have a chance to pick them back up from either the spot where you dies or by killing an enemy near your corpse. If you fail to get them on your next life then they're gone. In these games you want to spend your points when you have them.

Don't use bullets, in fact, don't stay at range. Get in close and get behind him. You will get multiple free hits and only occasionally take damage. Then take more hits to regen health. It is actually an easy fight going toe-to-toe.

Restarting the ps4 helps, but it always seems to come back after a while. Whenever I notice it I immediately shut it down. Super annoying.

you can find a ladder back up where you just were, which isn't great. After that keep exploring on the bottom. A werewolf will jump through a door. Go in, up and open the door. Now you can just drop down on the right when you enter, kill maybe 3 guys and you're right by the boss

Wow PvP is a mess. And I say this having not lost a single pvp match yet. Waaaay too easy to heal. Last guy I beat, I used 9 blood vials and beat him down to the point where he had none left before killing him.

For the actual fighting bit, it's fun and I'm finding that turning off lock on catches people off guard and allows you to catch them on the other side of a dodge easier.

They're like Souls of a Warrior in Souls games. Gives you some Blood Echoes. Use them before leveling up/buying gear.

Shouldn't, use gem stones that increase skill scaling, use skill scaling weapons. You can always upgrade STR later if you find something else you want
