Killed third boss on first try. Died via poisoning. :O Still got the items though. Gotta go get my souls back.
EDIT:Souls recovered.

Wow PvP is a mess. And I say this having not lost a single pvp match yet. Waaaay too easy to heal. Last guy I beat, I used 9 blood vials and beat him down to the point where he had none left before killing him.

For the actual fighting bit, it's fun and I'm finding that turning off lock on catches people off guard and allows you to catch them on the other side of a dodge easier.
You can interrupt their healing with shooting at thsm though. I think really skilled player will try to stay close than backing down.

Oh you've got to be shitting me..Got through a zone with 0 phials left and half health and figured "What the hell, I'll see what this boss looks like." Died horribly..then as I go through again, it's adds randomly pop up throughout the zone in addition to the other enemies..lesson learned..don't half ass bosses.

Every weapon uses the same upgrade material. So the Holy Blade will need those Twin Blood Stones too.
can anyone confirm how rare the upgrade materials are? I like upgrading a few different weapons for different situations, but will hold back and just get one good weaon upgraded if materials are as scarece as they appear to be early?
BSB first try.

Take that, haters ♥

good work. GOtta try to catch up tonight!

The Gatling gun dude fell off, God freaking dammit. Robbed, that was such a good battle. I'm a bit mad about that. At least, I killed the other hunter and it was really satisfying.

I'm trying to find victims and not having luck. Any suggestions?

I did not know where to go after shitting on the first boss, so I bought that 10,000BE key item thinking it would open a previously closed off path... Or progress me somehow...

Pls tell me I didn't fuck up.

If he falls off, you should exit the game and when you get back in the game you can loot the item he drops.

You didn't need to...but it'll probably open up something important/good later on.

Would you mind telling me how to get up to him? I beat the boss of the area, but couldn't find my way up to him.

Suddenly getting a ton of disconnections when I ring the Small Resonant Bell in the Cathedral Ward. Not sure what's happening. Is it because I beat the boss?

Haha, what? There’s gemstones that increase the scaling from stats on weapons? That’s dope. This game is great.

Yep I found some for str and skill, looks like there could be better versions of each.
I also have one that increases stamina recovery, ones that increase thrust/blunt attack, etc.

They seem to replace the rings and weapon paths from the Souls games.

Thanks guys! Sewers, huh.
Best to go from the little opening across the bridge from the two werewolves? There are so many ways into the sewers.

Getting more and more frustrated with the game. I didn't get like this on Demon Souls or Dark Souls. The "parry" system is painfully gimmicky, to the extent that it only works reliably on certain enemies.

Also, cane is awful. I might reroll since I'm stuck on the fucking cleric.

Nope. Nothing painfully gimmicky about it. It works reliably on any enemy it works on, it's up to you to execute.

Just got the game and added myself to the gaf list. Hope to play with you guys sometime!

I feel the temptation to pour tons of time into the character creator, but I think I'm just gonna try and resist. =\

Go to the sewer area... There is a large beast... Kill it and the other weapons will be open for purchase.

Horse and carriage?

Yep!

Just got to the boss. REALLY cool area overall with lots of awesome monster designs. The fleagirls outside are absolutely gross looking and the ghosts inside are really cool too.

Really excited for more people to get there. I'd post directions on how to get there but I don't really want to spoil anyone accidentally (this thread is moving really fast). If anyone wants to know, just PM me or something.

Welp I unexpectedly find the second boss while exploring pathways. He looks like he eats me alive lol. I will try my first attempt to defeat him tomorrow. In case I am unable to take him down, I will ring the bell to seek for help. Hopefully, there will be someone available to provide me assistance :)
