Actually I have seen that sometimes a parry always consistently works with certain enemies while it does not with some enemies. For example in the Cleric beast section. Shooting with pistol to the head during an attack does nothing for a number of shots and then suddenly it works and the beast gets stunned. I am wondering if there is some mechanic to the parrying for bosses specifically and not just shooting during an enemy attack animation that works for more regular enemies.

I'm in the jail part after beating the third boss and feel like I'm doing something wrong. The guys with the bags on their shoulders are two shoting me and I haven't had much of a problem before. What's up with that?

In the huntsman dream, inside the house there's a door between the other two facing towards the fountain with the messengers that sell stuff for echoes. Go out and turn left, there's another fountain on the ledge with messengers that sell gear for insight.

Is there any purpose for saving coldblood dew, kinda like feeding the souls to king Frampt for more souls like DaS ?
pistol has longer range but hits only 1 enemy where the blunderbuss can hit multiple at once.

I haven't fought him yet by myself, but I helped a guy beat him... or so I thought. I died almost immediately after I killed him. Then the host looked like he did some suicide thing and died. I'm confused as to what happened.
Yeah, really bad mindset if you're trying to defeat a boss. Compared to Souls games, enemy are more likely to ignore id you run pass them.
Don't worry, it'll be obvious.
Maybe even required.
It's not a bad thought for your first playthrough in any souls game, imo.

Wouldn't be a Souls game without clipping damage.
I went from thinking Cleric Beast was a terrible boss, to thinking it's a great boss once I beat it. My problem was I saw both lock on targets were high up, so I was worried about the camera messing up and kept my distance. Once I got tired of that approach and just ran in head first, the fight became much easier and much more fun.
I wish I wouldn't have lost my 13k blood echoes, I could have gotten the two new weapons T_T

Is grinding mobs for souls as typical thing to expect or am I playing the game wrong? I'm currently trying to get my vitality up to 20 before fighting the 2nd boss (first for me. . I don't know where I got lost at)

So, the Hunters Dream hub world reminds me a lot of Ash Lake and those giant hollow trees that, in some theorys, lead to seperate worlds/universes.

Just got kidnapped after some asshole punched my face in, was freaking out as my weapons were no where near powerful enough to take on two at once, let alone survive two sacks going burserk after a little damage. I thankfully ran around and found a lantern to warp out.
Molotovs and back stabs make short work of them. Try and lure one over to you with a pebble so you don;t have to fight both at once.
No, if you're grinding for anything other than weapon upgrade items (and even then, that's for new game+) you're doing something wrong.

I just bait them into walking into my R2 thrust attack from the Ludwig's sword.
Easymode.
Farmed so many souls/gems from them.
