spawn in the center of town. hopefully you have opened the gate in front of you to the left. if you have then go through there. kill the one guy at the top of the stairs. enter the house at the bottom of the stairs. go up the stairs in the house. go out the door upstairs. at the top of those steps, turn left down the bridge. the cleric beast is right past the fat bald troll.
Damn i can't read the wolves attack patterns at all, they get me 9/10 of the times.
Wait, how do you unlock that gate? Is the pathbehind the barrels that you break before you take a right and meet the huge guy with the cinder block
I use the gun to stop them then go in.Damn i can't read the wolves attack patterns at all, they get me 9/10 of the times.
Talk toher outside the cathedral ward. the door straight past the lantern.
Did you have this problem on the same fight as well? I tried offline mode one time, didnt help.I had the same problem, but the framerate would go up for me after 15 seconds before they could hit me. have you tried playing offline?
I'll try it, thanks.Klyka says: Try having a go at re building the PS4 database. He said its easily googleable on how to do it and that might help you.
Camera sucks there. I never stunned him. Just dodge and slice. A few molotovs for good measure. So uh, this Cleric Beast. Just ran into it.
Can you parry the thing with your gun? Or am I just wasting bullets?
Also I feel like I'm fighting the camera more than the boss >.>
Morning GAF,
So let me preface the following with this: I love this game.
Now I played for about 2 hours last night and got my ass kicked by various enemies. Not a big deal I have played a lot of Dark Souls and I'm used to thing kind of thing. I'm filing all of this under exploration, and learning.
That being said I got to the first boss last night after inadvertently finding the second boss during said exploration.
That boss repeatedly kicked my ass over and over to the point that I had to walk away. I feel like a total failure GAF there is no other way to put it.
I refuse to look at guides, so I am trying to understand the mechanics of the guns but I often feel like I am just spamming it when I see an animation start.
Any protips on when its the right time to attempt a stun? I know its going to vary from enemy to enemy? Also it seems that the follow up big hit that occurs after a stun is happening inconsistently for me is the window for that super short?
Again love the game, I just feel like I am not grasping some core combat mechanics.
Also one thing that I both love and hate is how late the first leveling opportunity comes, and that I am still running around in base armor!
This might have been answered earlier in the thread, but is parrying easier compared to the Dark Souls games? I was scared when I heard you had to parrry alot since I gave up trying in Dark Souls and went spear and sword for most of the game. I played Bloodborne for about four hours today and found the pistol parry much easier. I could pull it off pretty reliably on most mobs (really easy with the big guys).
Real problem for me wasHere's how i did kill him.the meteor shower attack that he keeps doing if you are too far from him.
I haven't played a Souls game in years, so I am terrible so far.
Before I tackle the first boss again I want to upgrade. What are the best things to upgrade for someone who is generally bad at combat in these games? I'm playing as soldier with the axe.

wow the gatling area is bullshit.

Patch coming to help with Loadings times...We be's them early adopters got beta test '-)I really agree with your second part. Always start with 4 vials seems like nice way to balance things. Or warping between bonfires, instead of the always hunters dream in between. I think that they want to discourage warping, but no, you need tose vials. OR DECREASE DOWNLOAD TIEM
I'm not so far in yet that I can comment on the deepness of it. But I think this criticism reeks of truth for those who invest over hundreds of hours into it. I think most people will complete the game once and continue on NG+ and then stop. Even if there had been more weapons they wouldn't ve experimented that much anyway.
Its the New Londo Archers V2!
It's pretty easy after learning the layout and where to stand. Or you can have him be on your side and leave you alone by other means from what I read on here.wow the gatling area is bullshit.

Hope you don't miss this reply but at the church, instead of ascending to that locked door you need to buy the key for, go around to the right immediately before walking through the entrance door. There's a DeS 2-2 style falling section.
i cant really remember how I got to that gate from the back. i think you go to where the big guy is banging on the big doors and there is a path near the fountain that leads up to that gate... dont quote me on that. im in bed on my mobile and cant check it out.Wait, how do you unlock that gate? Is the pathbehind the barrels that you break before you take a right and meet the huge guy with the cinder block
lol it really feels like it

My best advice is to parry/shoot just a tiny bit after you see the enemy charges its swing. Usually that works. But really, you need to get a feel for the parry timings. It's different from enemy to enemy.
Just keep at it. You'll get it sooner or later.
No, it's on the bridge.
While on the bridge, kill the wolves on the bridge and take a left off the bridge where a pitchfork guy is standing.
Proceed through the building opening the door, kill the guys inside, come out through the other end, kill the shooter on top of the staircase.
Take the stairs up further and open the gate.
Fuuuuuu, I hate thosebut thanks. I'll check that out.wolves
So uh... that church with the creepy guy. I told this one lady to go there when she asked about a safe place to travel.
Did I just fuck her over or
yes, thefight and it's still happening with the boss after themshadows
Hey Dex. guys, I've focused on Vitality/Endurance/Skills for this build but want to know level you guys are putting into other stats just for weapon equip. I'm slowly finding out strentgh is still important so gonna put that to level 12. Arcane is at 11, should I bring up Bloodtinge to 10 or so?
The lack of skill based weapons makes me feel like I should have focused on strength first then skill on NG+ lol...what do you guys nimble characters look like? I'm already 36, so gonna be a long grind to 40 to get my strength somewhere decent.
Badge to buy a sweet new weapon. Go back to the roof, reload your game and it will be next to the turret.I pushed him off the tower and missed his loot. What'd I miss?
Don't go that way until the turret guy is dead. When you get up there knock him off the building or hope he rolls off.Really?
Well the problem Im having is that theres some hunter NPC down there fighting me, and some crows too... and all of that while the fucked up there keeps shooting me.
Visit the place and see if they are there. There is certainly a chance to screw people over but you won't know till you do it. I get the feeling that its bad-bad choice for everything in reality.![]()
