In mob situations the lock-on will stop once you kill the enemy, so you have to manually lock-on again, or you can enable the auto-retargeting option which is what I did, helped a bunch

Guys any tips for ROM? died like 5 times in a row. Get her to about 50% then too many of them things. Ran out of vials too so need to go do some farming!

Looking more at the Chikage it doesn't seem that practical using it's transform. In PVP most people will just start evading and back off while you slowly die. Is the boost in damage worth the hp lost

YES BSB is down. Finally..I summoned the cleric to help and it made all the difference. Thanks for the tip. Also, the father G garb helps with the poison.

If you want to give it a go on co-op, I have my beckoning bell up in the first floor of the building (just below the fog door). I'm at Level 49 and there's no password.

Well, I can re-download any time I want how many times I want. It's there forever tied to my account.
But I got a boxed version so I don't have to re-download, the reversible cover is amazing and Miyazaki games deserve to be double-dipped.

Okay, so I was in The Hunter's Dream for the first time and had no idea how to get out. It wouldn't let me talk to the sleeping old man in the wheelchair so, desperately, I hit him and he disappeared. Am I fucked? Is it like Demon's Souls where he's dead or aggro'd forever now? Should I restart?

I am this close to giving up and summoning help, but gamer pride won't let me do it just yet.
It's not even a particular hard boss, but I keep getting baited into attacking while she's in mid-combo. And my utter lack of blood vials (wasted them all on those random hunters) means I can't take more than a few hits. Vicar being such a long fight really doesn't help.

Alright, adding two more things to my list of stuff I love about Bloodborne: the animations associated with leaving and rating messages. Just snap your fingers and your minions bear your message, flick a coin their way for good advice. Impossibly cool.

You should be okay. Use the headstones to get out.
I was like level 45 for it.
Just ran around (and later, through) the spiders, got a combo or two in, backed off. The homing ice shards made me burn a few vials though.

So do guys have any good places to make runs for blood vials and bullets at the same time? I'm just going through the beginning section, but it feels like there is another place thats better. I'm through the 4th boss.

OT1 lived a short but happy life. Kind of glad I was able to beat the game before OT2, at least!

Wut? OT2 already? I want to clarify one point mentioned in the newbie guild. I heard the doll in the hunter's dream wakes after you OBTAIN 1 INSIGHT. Meeting the first boss is not required. It's only because meeting the first boss will grant you 1 insight that many misunderstood it as the criteria for the doll to wake up.

Yeah I'm stuck approaching a dozen attempts too. I've got it down to just a few hits many times though...
Some strategy that seems to work:
on the first phase, kill all spiders because the boss does nothing, then on the second phase either kill them all or thin them out. Last phase I try to ignore the spiders and get a few hits in on Rom in-between its spells. Try to stay close to the boss so it doesn't missile spam as much. Next I'm going to see if pungent blood distracts the spiders!

If anyone is stuck on Amelia, take a left into the woods. Lots of XP, and the boss of that area is the easiest thing I have fought so far.

I kind of regret buying it, honestly. It's about as good as DSII's CE artbook, which was pretty slim as well. Artbooks are my favorite piece of CE swag but this one wasn't all that interesting.
