Bloodborne |OT2| Praise The Moon

For those stuck on BSB, that was the first boss in which parrying made it trivial for me. I went pretty hard against everything else up to that point, but finally switched back to one handed axe mode and shot him in the face during his huuuuuge attack telegraphs.

Riposte is key here. I did about 6 and a few strikes. Everything he does can also be evaded through the left side.

Tried for about 30 minutes to summon my two friends into my world with a shared password. Nothing worked. After wasting two of my insight we eventually just gave up on the whole thing. What a fucking waste of my time.

Damn it usually only takes a couple of minutes for my buddy to jump in with me. Sorry to hear that.

Guys when
Vicar
heals what the fuck do I do? I can't keep up with her healing it's kind of bullshit, I hit her and hit her and it's too fast. It has made it an unending fight.

I could be wrong but if you stay sort-of-behind her and attack the hand that's holding onto her medallion (her right hand? I forgot which one) then she won't be able to heal. You'll disrupt her healing and then it won't even be a problem.

Just venting, my copy of bloodborne was sent on Monday from Mighty Ape (NZ) and now it's Friday and still haven't arrived (Sydney). Fuck Australia Post, ruined my weekend. Should've just paid a bit more to pick up from EB games or JB Hi-Fi.

So for anyone who's beaten the game, I want an idea of how far i am.
So I've gotten to the phase where the moon is red and I just entered the nightmare area after you go through the 2nd floor of the college place. How much more do I have? I feel liked I've filled out a good bit of all 4 tombstones. Unless there's more I'm unaware of?

Asking this for the third time since no-one's answering (Mid to late game):

OK, how do I get to
Yahargul Chapel
? I got to the
Unseen villages - that's the kidnap place, right?
but all I found to do there was the
Darkbeast
.

Did I miss something? I've already beaten
Amygdala
and have no idea what to do next.

You have to defeat the boss of B
yrgenwerth
. Then the door that
Amygdala
was guarding ,will open. From there you'll find what you seek

For new players if you need vials, you can farm them at the bridge easily. Kill the hammer dude with the crows and the 2 werewolves for at least 6 in five minutes. The wolves get stuck in the door of the wheelchair guys house and can't touch you.

This.

I've been doing this all day today. Lol.

These threads are moving way to fast for me. I went the whole day today without playing Bloodborne to catch up on sleep and it wasn't worth. Bloodborne is life. Bloodborne is love. : )

So that means killing
the dude in white clothing with the threaded cane
? Because he was kicking my ass earlier so hard.

How do I upgrade character stats?

I started with the professional/cane and this is pretty difficult so far. Is it worth it to stick with a skill based build?

Seriously. I cannot stop thinking about or playing Bloodborne. I'm gonna take a little break tonight to play some Pillars of Eternity. But I'm gonna push on into NG+ tomorrow and this weekend.

Could I get some help running through chalice dungeons?

If you're around level 73 my chalice glyph is ym655yqa.

I don't have a password set so you shouldn't have any problems.

Managed to beat the next boss at the Chalice Dungeon. Got some rad gear for my efforts:

Easiest boss in the game for me. Every hit I gave to her was a visceral attack. :P

Get 1 Insight by either killing the boss or finding some before that. Head to dream world and you can use the doll.

I hate this! It happens in every From game, they always make an
NPC look like a monster. I've killed the spider guy in the lecture hall fffffssssss

So I've found a woman in the first central town and she's asking to be sent to "a safe place"

Do I send her to Iosefka's Clinic, or Oedon Chapel?

Kind of at a loss of where to go. Just beat Darkbeast, dunno where next. Only place I dunno is the
invisible monster in the ceiling door
but that's closed.

Did you already go through the
Forbidden Forest?

Probably not.

I tried with a friend who was 83 and I could see his ghost running around but we could link up.

Damn that's so annoying. Makes it so hard to play with people.

Talk to the people in those places and try and make a good choice based upon what the people say and how they say it. Remember, there is always NG+!

I'm level 59 and still wearing the yharnam hunter set. I feel like I should have worn something else by now, but the sets I've found / can buy seem like marginal upgrades and only in some stat areas.

I have three questions.

1. I beat the second boss and bought the key for 10k in the Hunters Dream. Is the door in an area I've been to? A simple yes or no please, I want to find it myself.

2. What happens if you
don't give the little girl the brooch?

3. What does the cape a woman in a crow mask gave me do? It added a circle below my vials and bullets that sometimes glows yellow, but I don;t know what it means.

They're all like that. Some are particularly resistant to a certain element or status effect, so watch out for those, and switch on when needed. But the Yharnam hunter set is solid much of the time.

To be honest, I never really found any real upgrades and I'm almost level 100. Each piece of armor seems more situational than anything. Or whatever looks coolest.

I get the feeling there's not going to be any clear cut good upgrades, only side grades that cover defenses differently. Which is good, allows people to wear what they want, and without an encumberance system it makes sense.
