Sure, pick any one. I would do the Dark Souls in order though.
Stay near him and shoot him when he's about to attack (he staggers easily for visceral). I tried the dodge and hit tactic - won't work on him.
Unlocked the shortcut in Forbidden Woods and going through that felt kinda long.
Getting kind of bored of the game now though. I really love the art and the world From Software crafted here, but I mostly just want to go fight the cool bosses now and skip everything in between. I like exploring and going through the well designed levels, but besides the hunter type enemies regular enemy encounters aren't that interesting and it makes going through these levels a drag. Either I one shot/two shot the enemy before they even get to do anything or I bait them into attacking and I just punish the endlag with a few R2 strikes and kill them. I just wish there was a little more to them. :x
Maybe I'll come back to it again later. Just feels like I'm going through the motions everytime I get to a new place.

The forest, in a hidden location. I can't really describe it. There's a big next to a giant headstone, and behind him there's a log. Go over the log and there's the set/ The helm is in another location where you have to jump across. I guess I could make a video.
That fight was intense. I got the dualshock is low on battery notification during it. I was scared my controller would die in the middle of the fight, lol.

Yeah, I did after a few deaths. In that same area, right when I opened the door, there was a guy on a rocking chair that looked like a mage. I killed him, was he a NPC or an enemy?
Play them in order or at least try Dark Souls 1 first. I wouldn't jump into dark 2 yet tbh.

Man, I love this game so much.
I found myself somehow in a prison with no way to warp back to the Hunter's Dream.
The place is called Invisible Village or something like that. The music and the sound effect are spooky as hell and the enemies way out of my league (my best weapon is a Saw Cleaver +3).
I decided to go slowly and find a way out of that mess. With my blood vials stock and my weapons durability diminishing with no way to restore it I started to panic. What the hell is going on here? To make things even worse I found myself in front a boss (Dark Beast or something like that) who utterly destroyed me.
I was going to give up and call it a night but I decided to continue my exploration to find a way out (if there was) without having to beat the boss.
It turned out a lamp that warps out wasn't really far away and I explored a large part of the dungeon for 2 hours without even noticing it. What a relief, my hands are still shaking.
This is probably my most intense experience in the Souls series period.
Turned out that place is perfect for twin shards farming, so that's what I did and upgraded my weapon to +6. BTW those reapers are probably my favorite enemies so far. They are very dangerous and so well designed. I found some nice loot too so my little terrifying adventure wasn't a waste of time after all.
I will come back to this place later because it doesn't seem to be the next to be visited given how powerful the enemies are here.

Yes. I think the system is probably under heavy traffic or broken.
It's very hit or miss and I find it hard to believe there's not that many people to summon.

Running instead of dodging is NOT working. I'm still getting hit every other time. I've brought him down to 10% health numerous goes but I can;t finish him off. Fuck this.
And now my mace is in need of repair so I have to go back and sell some stuff to afford it....

Had a weird bug where I couldn't interact with anything (Lanterns etc.), had to relog to fix it.

So I spent the last two nights dying 40+ times on the first area and making virtually no progress. The game FINALLY clicked tonight and woooaaahhh, baby. Beat the first two bosses and currently exploring the third area, now level 18. Just upgraded my axe several times. That thing is badass, so much so that I find my gun almost not being used at all.

Advice needed. Just beat Cleric Beast, have 7350 echoes to spend. Already have Hunter Gear. What do I spend it on? Leveling up? Kirkhammer? Should I fortify my Saw Cleaver (I have 5 Blood Stone Shards)?
My first summon was just before the 2nd boss and a guy appeared within a minute.

Yeah, I'm not saying it doesn't work, but it's very iffy. Been waiting 30mins for a summon before BSB. Before that I was getting 'em fine (2-3 times).

I don't get this. Are they trying to encourage multiplayer with this? Why not just have a "Company of Champions" covenant for people that want the challenge. People can just spend down Insight to avoid it or stockpile if they like it. Overly complicated for no reason.

FFS. I've beaten DeS and both DS on ng+ and this game is beating my ass to the ground. I can't beat beat the first boss and have barely gotten him down to half. Plus I toasted all my blood and bullets so now I gotta farm them for more. This is about 5 hrs playtime. Thank god I finally found the
. I staggered him once, can someone let me know if there is a critical animation cuz when I went up to him afterwards I just did te regular swing so not sure if I did it wrong. I need help

Back in the cathedral a new door has opened, also if you buy the key from the store it will unlock a new section outside the cathedral on one of the gates. So, two options.

Aside from humanoid bosses, I'm not sure you can actually riposte most of them. Or at least I haven't been able to after a stagger. It gives you enough time to do a power attack and another hit though usually.
