Elden Ring Nightreign |OT| Praise the Rain

Literally every region can be repurposed into it's own map, Caelid, Liurnia, Atlas Plateau, mix and match with Siofra area etc, all the content is already there, let's see if they do anything with it.
I doubt they do any that match the shifting earth events but the shadow of the erdtree stuff is clearly missing and perfect for a limgrave type map to set up the missing shadow of the erdtree items and bosses.

I picked this game up since they dropped the Duos patch. I'm playing on PS5 Pro, and even in 'prioritize frame rate' mode, this game chugs at times. On Reddit, many people have stated that since this patch, they have experienced massive slowdown, frame drops, and even freezing/crashing.

I haven't experienced the latter, but it does dip below the VRR window quite frequently.

Has anyone else experienced this since the newest patch?

It was shit before and it's shit now, not much of a difference that I've noticed...

Yes! Okay, thought I was just imagining it, but performance in general took a slight hit in heavy areas. Like when a lot of effects going off during day 2 boss or field bosses.

Btw if you want a slightly better fps average play the PS4 version on PS5. It's what I do. Even still it's not a rock solid 60 unfortunately.

I've just picked this game up on PS5 and wondering the best tips for first time play?
I don't want to frustrate other players.

Just follow your teammates around and slowly you'll learn everything. Ignore your needs if it means straying from the group the first runs, catching up to them at the start can be very confusing.
Raider or Wylder are good characters to start, you won't need to separate from the main group for spells.
Only bother with the purple smithing stone if you have an effect on your starting weapon that you need for the final boss.

If you're actually worried about letting your teammates down from not knowing anything, just play solo for a couple runs and learn the basic mechanics. After those couple runs, (hopefully) just let one of your teammates take charge and follow their pings on the map. You'll learn everything you need to know in no time.
