Meh abusing the dupe glitch on one character to get an interesting build for myself.

But to make it interesting, I'm going to give this character over 200 insight to see if this game just fucks him over.

Arrived sooner then I expected!! =D

You need three of them to get the true final boss/ending.
One you get manadory from a story boss. One you can find in a secret area that's near the chappel tower.. The third one can be obtained actually from two different spots that I know of. Either A. from killing the woman in the clinic once you get back there. Or B. The woman that can go to the chapel area, she eventually goes a bit crazy and can kill her for one also.

Thanks,
Iosefka in the clinic i guess ? or was the one i got from a story boss, i just killed the old reborn, is the story one you talking about farther ?

Third boss is absolutely eating my lunch. Have summoned help 3 times now (1 person each time) and even when it gets to the 20% left range and I try to play it safe, the enemy just goes "time to end this" and comes and stun-locks me to death. I can't strafe, side step, back step, dive forward.... it's like the attack is 360 degree and fifty yards. Ive watched youtube videos and they just make it seem like a stroll in the park.

First time Im starting to really get frustrated as I know I shouldnt be having THIS much trouble with this guy.

Which one exactly?

I'm at 10 hours and only at
Bloodthirsty Beast...
Do I suck GAF?

Nah, you're just taking to slow, which I think is super valid. That's what I am doing, I am very new to "souls" games and I haven't even gotten to
BSB
yet, though I think I am close. And I'm at about 11 hours playtime.

Nope.
14 hours in. Only first two bosses down. Although I am taking my sweet ass time exploring everything. I also am farming and leveling up to make things a tad easier.

So I have 24 Insight and
Frenzy
seems to be a problem now. It doesn't seem like leveling any stats increases resistance to it.

Should I be spending Insight? If so, are the
Gasciogne
or
Ashen
armor sets worth it?

Yeah that's the clinic. You should be able to get into the back area coming from behind. Also no, it's after the old reborn. Did you happen to find
the location from the dream hub in the normal map?
cause that's the secret area one.

Finally found the 3rd boss. She gave me a bit of a kicking. Figured I'd level up a bit by helping some other dudes. When I try to ring the bell though it won't work. What am I doing wrong?

should I able to use runes by now after killing the 4th boss? I mean I have 2 now but no workstation for them yet. Did I miss it?

After getting my ass handed to me by the
Cleric beast
yesterday before I went to work, I came back today with a vengeance. Aced him on my first try and now I feel like a FUCKING BOSS. I am head over heels in love with this game.

Yes
that was in the chappel tower that you mention right ? I fell down and found a door before the ground that lead me to the abandoned workshop ( hunter's dream ) Still haven't found a key to open the top door at the top of the tower ( the room full of pots ). I already killed Iosefka, but i don't think i got the cord from her, so i guess i'm fucked

Ok, what's the strategy for F.G.?
His 2nd form where he turns into a beast is highly aggressive and I can't even get away fast enough to breathe. Then when he knocks me down, he combos me so I can even dodge.

So I've been doing some chalice dungeons and have gotten through 4 bosses in them. What's the word on weather or not chalice dungeon bosses are unique. One of them I fought I can confirm was a buffed up version of an regular enemy in the world, but I fought 2 that we're totally unique and incredibly cool looking. I'm a little worried that those could have been bosses from the main game, as I don't really want to spoil that stuff before I get to it in the game proper. On the other hand, if they were completely unique, that's amazing. I'm sure it's already been addressed in this thread, but does anyone know?

Absolutely loving this game, by the way, one of the best, most immersive games I've played in years.

I would put my dick in this boss if it was next to me right now. Yet another shitty boss.

Man, the way a few of the locations change as the game progresses is fantastic. Mid-game spoilers follow.

I'm mainly talking about
the village where you are taken if you are kidnapped by the dudes with the body bags. Seeing them massacred later on in the game in the same area as the story progressed. =O

So damn good.

Ok.
So for that key, you have to grab that in the unseen village area. There is a location where you run up down a flight of stairs with the creatures shooting the exlosive lazers. If you turn around from that location and head to the right... I think there is another staircase, but if you look to the side there is a railing that's open. Jump down that way to get the key to the tower!

Man the area before you fight the boss in that area is creepy as shit.
All those bodies in walls.

U either have to be quicker with ur reaction. U should step back and not side way. If the tomb prevent you from doing so. You need to move to the staircase. Use some bombs to finish him off.

Fucking 4th boss giving me problems. Reminds me of the Boss fight in Dark Souls when you return to the asylum -- easy if you stay behind him, impossible otherwise

How many bosses is there in the game? (not counting the dungons) i don't want this to end but i need a feeling how long its going to take me.
