Tried to find someone who I could help with the resonating bell, but it didn't work for me at all. Anyone else having problems finding people?

I just played super defensively, dodged a lot and only attacked here and there. I don't know if there's really a way to make the fight against them easier. It took forever to kill all three this way though. Probably the toughest fight in the game for me and they're not even a boss.
I used a pebble to lure them out. Two came at once, so I ran back to the lantern and only one seemed to want to follow me all the way. It was tough, even 1v1, but I killed one and since they don't respawn I picked off the rest.

Took a looong time though.
its comforting to know I'm not the only one struggling with them. some of these hunters (like the one
in the cathedral at the end of the Eileen quest
) feel tougher than some of the bosses, definitely

These three hunters in Y
ahar'gul
are bullshit

Any suggestions? I can't seem to summon any help to even the odds. A 3 v 1 fight with them
shooting lighting and fire
is just unfair.

I literally just did this part before heading off to lunch. Here's what I did:

Immediately run like hell to the far side of the chapel and bank left. If you had explored this area earlier before the weird purple sky/red moon stuff, there was an item guarded by a boar that now has a a mass of skeletons in the box enemy type. If you don't recall the area, when you run outside there will be the giant courtyard and a set of steps to the left. Hug the wall near the steps but don't go up them, and on your left will be the area I'm talking about.

Zerg the skeleton that's there and one of the 3 hunters will fight you. You can freely fight him in this tight space w/o aggroing other stuff. Once you beat him, I took the shortcuts I had opened up earlier in along the sides of the chapel and cleared the lower floors of enemies.

From there on you go back up to the main chapel room, and have to do a 2 on 1. Take your time dodging, and parry+visceral attack the smaller hunter with the beast claws first since he'll be right up in your grill constantly. From there you are free to take on the last hunter. The whole chapel is your battleground since you'll have cleared it out and can freely run as needed.

I realize the first part of my advice is convoluted, but it's hard to explain w/o me knowing if you've explored the area previously.

NG++ done! (All bosses except for one)

NG+++ inc!

Need some help GAF. It's probably already been asked but I'm confused about co op on a chalice dungeon.

Ok my mate got his stuff before me and created one. I acquired the items needed today and used said items on one of the headstones.

Now for me to connect to him is it he shares the glyph with me and I connect using that. We then use our bells in the dungeon to actually both connect to the same session?

Anyone had this happen to them when entering a boss fog via co-op? I uploaded a short clip of it happening to me. The video shows boss name (spoilers!), location is
forbidden woods, shadow of yharnam
) https://youtu.be/fsDD38kDhE8

Insane fps drop on both sides, lucky if the host makes it through without dieing. If the host doesn't die the fps goes back to normal after about 15-20 seconds.

Actually, I'm gonna take a slight break before I continue with NG+++, lol.

I think I deserve that.

There are about 10+ enemies that are instant "fuck kill this shit with fire right now!" in this game.

My picks (massive spoilers):
Unborn One
Big Snake Orgy monster in the Forbidden Forest
Eblieatas
Mother Brain (it doesn't attack you when you kill it but it's still creepy as fuck)
Cthulu looking enemies that suck your Insight
Amygdala
Creepy as fuck Ravens with dog heads and dogs with Raven heads in the final area
Spider enemies in front of Cainhurst
Giant scorpion looking insect before the Spider fight in Bernham

Hm, I guess I should start looking at the trophy list :lol Currently at 71%. Let's see what I'm missing.

After beating VA and the witches I am not able to port from the dream to the locations. If I want to go to the church I am landing in Old Yharnam.
Is my game file damaged or is it just weird From Software?

The teleport locations don't always get added in order and later locations use a different head stone.

Questions: :)

1) When's a good time to start exploring the
prison
? I haven't gone back since you first get taken there. I just got to
Rom but haven't beaten him yet.

2) Tonsil Stone Question.
Everyone just screams in conversations now, does the stone have something to do with it? What am I supposed to do with the stone?

3) I often go back to Yharnam after killing each boss but have pretty much found nothing new. Anything I need to look out for?

Yoshi did you change from your Kirkhammer build? What did you settle on? I'm in same predicament with not likeing the hammer against fast bosses/hunters.
Yoshi pls. I need recommendations for someone who started out as a Kirkhammer str build. I was thinking of transitioning to LHB quality build.

So the F
orbidden
W
oods
elevator next to the lamp has stopped working for me. The lever to summon it from above didn't work so I went around, but stepping on the button on the elevator doesn't do anything either. Is there any way of fixing this, or am I gonna be forced to take the long and annoying route to the boss each time? :(

I've talked to Gilbert numerous times but he hasn't given me the
flamesprayer
yet... do I need to do something first? I've beaten
Cleric Beast
. Does it have anything to do with stats/insight?

The stone literally tells you what to do with it haha. Both when you get it and in the description.

How have you beat it 3X already???
<,< I play the game.

Apparently, I'm missing out on four trophies. Gotta get to it asap.

So I'm disappointed with myself. Last night I was drunk. I beat the hunter before Rom. Bested rom. And then I exploited the hunter Eileen wanted me to fight with the glitch. Soooo disappointed about that. Lol after that I killed Eileen

Can I get some leveling advice please? Here's my stats

V 22

E 22

S 20

SK 12

B 10

A 14

Have enough echos 2 levels right now

(Mechanics spoiler)
If you get Arcane to 15, there are a couple of spell-like items you can use.
Otherwise, I'd just keep pumping V and E till 30 or so.

I agree with all of them except the two listed there.
I laughed out when I saw the raven-dogs and dog-ravens. So ridiculous and stupid.
And the scorpion has a teethed vagina instead of a belly. They tried too hard with that. Gaping Dragon it is not.
However,
getting bulldozed by a dozen-eyed giant boar scared me shitless cause I have this fear of creatures with many eyes.

My list would probably be similar.

Those singing brain people were also pretty unnerving. I loved the look of that scorpion thing, I'm surprised that seems to be the only place it's used. The bug head things in that area were also fucked up.

I found the headsnake guys to be freaky as hell too.

Okay, I seriously have no idea where to go. The last major thing is did was beat BSB. I went to the right of the cathedral and got the items, but both the top and bottom of the tower leas to dead ends. The forward exit of the cathedral leads me to a locked gate. The only place I think I can go is either the 10k gate (which I heard there was another way into), or the gate near the 10k gate that holds the giant monster. I've gone that way before and also reached a locked door.

Any help, please?

So I never
got grabbed by the guys with the sacks
, and I looked it up which seems to be necessary for a boss? I don't see them anymore so not sure if I missed that which would suck.

Wow, I really liked the
witches of hemwick
boss fight. Pretty easy though, I assume that's the pinwheel of the game? Big on atmosphere/setting, low on challenge?
