I'm pretty sure vicar Amelia is down to the fact that it's the point in the game where people are going over 15 insight. That's what happened to me and it made her unbearably hard.

Man I don't wanna sound like a dick but I don't see the vial/bullet stock issue.
I have both maxed out at 99 in my storage already. Though I could see how using a lot of them against a boss and repeatedly failing drains that quickly.

Nah, I think it has to do with her positioning in relation to other bosses rather than insight. I had over twenty at that point and didn't have much trouble with her. If you go and take on two of the other three bosses that can be fought at that point she'll be pretty easy.
Yea, killed those wolfs at old yarnham for bloodshards and got it to +3. Felt sorry for her really, the damage scales insanely when you keep flaming her.
I had 24 during the fight, but I still think that may be true. I was also level 42.

my chalice dungeon has a depth of 5 but i can't seem the find the elevator after the third boss. am i missing something?
It's not a problem if you farm for a bunch of them. Once you're powerful enough you can get a ton in a few minutes in central yharnam.

I beat Paarl, Amelia, Hemwick witches and everything before and I got a gem from Paarl that Byrgenwerth chief guy likes. Says so in the item description. So I'm thinking I need to go to that door where the guy asks for a password and show him the gem. Anyone care to refresh my memory where the door is again? Or am I totally wrong? But I really don't think theres anywhere left for me to go.
Use Fire Paper, go ham on her legs with a fast weapon. Try to stay behind her. If you do enough damage she'll be stunned so often she won't have many chances to attack. Charge R2 her when she's healing. You need to be pretty aggressive. When she's hunched over on her hands and knees, you can hit her face for a visceral attack.
Technically no because you need three parts but the game presents you four opportunities to get a part

The time that really annoyed me with the vials was when I fought the BSB and Amelia. I used pretty much all 20 vials on each run and died a lot on both those bosses. Farming after each time I died was incredibly frustrating.
Since then though, I mostly one shotted or maybe two attempted each boss so it hasn't been an issue and I was able to build up a reserve in storage.

Yeah I think I got lucky there, beat BSB in one try and was very careful not to use many vials on my first few Amelia attempts until I got a bit more confident in fighting her
Dont think you have to be that high to fight him. I was around your lvl when i beat him and the important thing to remember is you can switch target when he stabbs his sword into the roof to summon the weapons and break it with your gun/trick weapon.

Strange, I get a connection error when I use beckoning bell and just end up wasting insight. Try to use the resonant bell and it never finds a game... Awesome.
I've been using the suspend feature, I think I might try rebooting the game and see if that helps.
heh, I got the constant "max item" message in one area, and emptied both bullets and vials in the next. :/

Welp....I may be in for a shock. lol
There's also one in the secret area.
What's your insight? That boss did so little damage to me that staying behind and spamming attacks healed almost all the damage back up through HP regain.

i really dont think insight affects the bosses difficulty.
NG+ gives you a pretty massive boost in Echoes. It's not really worth sticking around and farming on the first playthrough if you can kill the final boss and have done everything you've wanted to do.
Isn't that the fourth of those that I listed?
When going down the tower in the Cathedral Ward you can see a door on a platform that looks unreachable. You can reach that door and it leads to a secret area.

Just when I thought shit couldn't get any creepier/more disturbing, I go back to Cathedral Ward after beating Wet Nurse. The old woman is fucking dead near a bunch of graves, judging by her previous dialogue and the fact she spammed you with Sedatives means she probably over dosed on it. She was going crazy before that thinking world was going to end and took sedatives to calm her nerves. That's fucked up man...
Not nearly as fucked up as this other thing. Arianna (the prostitute) is also no where to be found. I go seaeching from her and she is at the entrance between Cathedral and Central Yarham right after the Father G fight. She has apparently given birth to... something. She was in agonizing pain last tine I saw her and now she is going crazy over what she has given birth to.
That shit looks exactly like whatever came out of Caska in Berserk after being raped by Femto. I killed that shit emphatically and got an umbilical core out of it. Reading the texts it seems like the Umbilical cords are of baby Great Ones (like Amygdala). In any case this shit is fucked up man!
This combined with the red moon makes it yet another reference to Berserk. There are a bunch of others in the game as well. I fucking love it!
