Can someone explain the ending for me?
Did my character turn into some slug thing? I didn't really get it.

I think you became an infant Great One, which for whatever reason is a little slug looking thing.

As for what that actually means, I have no idea.

Aww man I jacked up badly.
I followed the way from Cathedral Ward and finally found Old Yarnham (Yay!). Went exploring to the right side of the path eventually rolled over the roofs until I got to the path that leads to the long ladder up the tower.
However, now I believe I am stuck down here and can't get out. Any ideas?

Just climb the ladder to the tower and roll out of there to the starting location.

Which weapons scale best with strength? Think I'm gonna just pump strength to SL120.

Kirkhammer - A Strength, E Skill
Logarius' Wheel - S Strength, C Arcane

Most of the rest are Cs with a couple Bs and you need to focus on Skill with those weapons too. For example Ludwig's Holy Sword which is B/B.

So after trying to kill the
Blood starved beast
for an hour and a half, I'm worse off than where I started. I've got to farm for vials antidotes again, I have only 5 molotovs left, and I used up most of my pungent blood coctails.

What the fuck an I supposed to do now. His last stage I have no chance against. The pungent blood coctails seem to just make him go crazy and slash everywhere...

Well a good method would be to learn to parry/visceral his final form, however I had ran out of bullets when I killed him so I had to resort to another method which is even easier and safer. Stock up on molotovs (should happen whilst your farming for vials etc) and cheese his last form with them, he leaves a large window after a lot of attacks where it's super easy to hit him with them. First you need to learn to dodge him efficiently if you haven't already though because some of his attacks can easily take you from full health to nothing if you get caught in them.

In general though the easy way is to stay by the pillars for cover, keep a reasonable gap and cheese him with the molotovs. If you're running out of vials fast in the early stages you can summon an NPC nearby who will help for the first half of the fight.

Got my blades of mercy omg those things are fast. Need some more blood chunks. I've got them to +6 with A in skill scaling. Plus my cane is +8 with A in skill scale. Love the cane and blades combo. Still trying to figure if I kike it single handed or transformed into the 2 daggers. When they are daggers those things are insanely fast

I am running with the same cane/mercy blade combo. Have both at 6+, but trying to find blood chunks to get them higher. I think I like the duel wield best. Get in close and hit R1 a few times and laugh at the combo that comes out along with your targets health!

Also try rolling forward and hitting R2, or running and hitting R2. There are other crazy moves you can do with them dual wielded, they are ridiculous cool and powerful. But for some reason I don't see many people talking about them--everyone seems to be going with STR weapons--so shhhhhh! ;)

After 20 minutes of waiting to summon someone for Rom what happens? I get rushed by 4 spiders and then stun-locked to death 50 seconds into the fight.

Damn adds I swear.

Thats all right, i had two summons, both took forever, and both died 10 secs into fight at first spider they ran into. Now waiting for my third summons.

Guys, should I kill the gatling gun guy in Old Yarnham?

I watched ENB's videos so far and he says not to because he'll come in handy later, but he's making my life really more fucking difficult than I feel it needs to be.

By the way what's the verdict on the best weapon between the axe you can start with and the holy blade? The sword seems to make a better light weapon but the axe seems unmatched as a heavy weapon thanks to its huge charge attack with full 360 coverage. I'm thinking of just keeping both on me but I was planning to ditch the axe initially, is it worth keeping around or will the sword outscale it soon?

If the wait times between summons wasn't so long it would probably be better, but at the moment this sucks.

This game is the hardest of the Souls games. Everything hits super hard (seriously, it's like 2 shots from anything and I'm dead). I think I'm level 55ish and just beat the
One Reborn
. I'm mainly pumping Vitality, Strength, and Endurance.

Beat the game. Wonder what the "end game" is going to be, level wise and PvP zone. I unlocked the match making altar for chalice dungeons but couldn't find anyone for pvp or co-op after an hour of looking. So it doesen't seem like Chalice dungeons are gonna be any good for end game multiplayer.

Advice for the the boss people are having difficulty with, R
om

Use Tonitrus. Seriously. Upgrade it.

Even compared to other strength weapons and having tons of points in strength, it does, like, 3 or 4x the damage.

I'll level 50 and kicking ass. Still haven't found a Chalice to try out the Chalice Dungeons- I have plenty of materials to perform the ritual but no chalice yet. Any idea where I can find one?

So I missed the side quest with the little girl and went back to her after defeating the 5th boss. She only has one line of dialogue moping about her parents and doesn't give me a music box. Should I check back later or did I miss it and have to wait until NG+?

Definitely not the hardest, lol.

Probably the easiest, maybe a little harder than Dark Souls 2 (solo).

Keep playing. You will get it later in some optional zones. Besides you really want to be around 80 for the chalice dungeons.

Don't give up, I literally spent the last 2 days on him and killed him about an hour ago. This was after 2-shotting CB and 1-shotting Father G. I just stocked up on everything,
molotovs especially for his enrage phase.

Holy shit the level after you beat Rom O_o

There's Cthulus everywhere on the buildings! What the fuck! And the sky looks fucking awesome.
Wow.

Enjoy what many of us consider the worst zone in any souls game :)

So should I spend some insight cause I'm assuming this hunter that's wrecking me with magical white bolts is only doing so cause I have 20 of it lol

I dont know if its just no one is using small bell, or if the servers are so busy they implemented a waiting queue of some sort.

Might be both? I had this issue on the day after release on Father G where I was unable to summon anyone but I could get summoned to help every 50 seconds I tried.

Alright, any tips for the dude in
Old Yharnam
that has the
gatling gun?
I can get to him fine but I get wrecked everytime.

Edit: Nvm he just
backstepped off the entire tower....

The first two bosses were a breeze for me as well. I just feel like I hit a brick wall here. Freaking poison. I'll probably just save molotovs for final phase and hope for the best.
