There's actually only two real high Strength scaling weapons - the Kirkhammer (A) and Logarius' Wheel (S). Similarly there's only three high Skill scaling weapons - Blade of Mercy (S), Reiterpallasch (A), and Threaded Cane (A).

Most of everything else is split between the two with Bs, Cs, and Ds for the most part. The most "balanced" one is Ludwig's Holy Sword with B/B.

I summoned for help a couple times and less then 60 seconds someone was in my game helping me beat boss 3. Now if only I knew where to go after boss 3 lol.

How many points do you have in Vitality?

More vitality is the answer to many of the game's challenges IMO.

Thx for input I will work on those combos. I really like them a lot. In souls I've always been a dex build so I was looking forward to skill build in BB

its one of the many reasons why Dark Souls is still the undisputed camp of the series in my opinion. I'll still put it above DS2 overall tho (and i loved ds2, it gets a bum rep for no reason)
 
If co-oping on Rom, some extra spiders will glitch in and remain still without attacking. These are spiders from the next two waves. Kill them during the first phase as they all glitch in and you can fight the last two phases with very few spiders
 
Helping out people with Paarl has become my new favorite way to farm echoes.

Frequently getting into people's games quickly (yet to have to wait over 5 minutes), fairly easy fight getting around 10K echoes each time and I get the satisfaction of helping out someone in need.
 
Just beat the game. The final boss(es) were pretty tame. The Rifle Spears range really put in work making punishing easy. Now to start a Strength/Arcade build.

It's worth getting your Strength to 50 regardless of the Cannon, which is a hilariously awesome weapon in its own right (when upgraded and used with bone marrow ash).

26-50 still gives you tons of stat gains, yet some people still think that 25 is a good stopping point for some reason - it's not. The drop off is very, very small. The only real big drop is at 50 and if your gear uses a stat it's absolutely worth getting to that level. The exception being Endurance which hard caps Stamina at 40.

This is the combo I roll with. It is amazing.

Been using ludwig's for a while now, I have 35/35 on my attributes and the weapon hits like a truck.

I like it because the sword is super fast and the trick mode hits hard and has decent range.

Eh, the best points of DkS1 were better than 2 but the low points were much, much lower. DkS2 was the most consistent of the series so far.

I honestly don't see Bloodborne as having any really bad areas. The last one is annoying but there's a shortcut that lets you basically ignore all of it.

earlier today. Besides the advantage that the time between respawn and fight is really low, it's probably my favourite fight so far. Loved the puzzle-nature of manuvering the adds to get to him.

. And that was super lame, lol. Though I didn't get to see much, fight was over in a second, just standing by his side.
 
I'm going to do the final boss soon, just need a break first.
I've done every boss except the chalice one,, got every hunter tool, bought every gear and weapon I could, and stocked up on ritual blood so I can do chalice dungeons whenever in NG+.

So for the true ending, I just use the umbilical cords at the gate in Hunter's Dream that was previously locked and talk to the guy at the tree? Will it be obvious what option to choose to get true ending?

Got the first 2 bosses down. #1 or #2 Father G was a pain in the ass in their 3rd form.

Question about the tiny music box. I went back to the person that gave it to me and told them about the Cathedral without having found their mother yet. Well I found their mother now but they're not in the house and they're not at the catehdral? Did I get them killed D:?
 
Without spoiling anything, does this game have items/weapons/armors that are only available in NG+ (and beyond?)

I like the idea that things take multiple playthroughs to acquire, so is Bloodborne like that? I recall some things in Dark Souls 1 and 2 needing being available only in new game+.

Yeah I went DEX with some points in Arcane and Strength as well. Love the Cane, just need to find Blood Chunks and farm some echoes for the BoM since I have the crow set now.

Actually I mixed it with the Yharnam Hunter set's hat and gloves I think. I just wanted the cool feather cape. The Doctor's Mask is amazing to look at but compared to the hunter hat, it's garbage.

Mechanically abhorrent (nobody likes
respawning enemies
, might aswell have put a escort mission in there while you're at it), you end up just running and juking your way through the zone which is not what you come to Souls games for, bad layout compared to the rest of the game's amazing level design in general, they do nothing with the
giant spiders
in the end (well I guess there's the one that
shoots the laser
), frustrating enemies later in the zone, just a big mess overall. Not since the anor londo archers have I felt not rage, not frustration, just a feeling of "I'm not liking this game anymore". When you are not even raging at dying in a Souls game, when you just don't care anymore, the game lost you :)

Thankfully the next zones are awesome, but man was I bummed out at that zone earlier today. Not angry, just bummed / sad
 
Just got Evelyn upgraded to +7 but it seems to be just as good as the basic hunter pistol. Am i missing something? At least it looks and shoots so much cooler.
