Still confused. :D

anyone got a good overview for the chalice dungeons?

Beat the first Pthumeru Chalice to get Central
Beat Central to get Lower
Beat Lower to get the Defiled Chalice (final)

Similar pattern for them all. Root versions can be found which allow you to make randomly generated versions of that dungeon.

So I didn't realize if I assist someone in killing a boss I haven't defeated, I don't get the kill. Still have to walk this spider.

Anyone wants to help me with
Rom
? I'm by the entrance to the boss.

Can someone confirm something for me? I'm fighting the king and used up my insight because people been saying it makes bosses easier.

Now the King has an extra move that AoEs the entire roof unless you LOS his weapon, and you have to do that while fighting him. wtf

Was farming for blood souls to level up before fighting
Amelia for the thousandth fucking time
and I got murdered and
kidnapped to the Unseen Crazytown. The tall guys swinging bodies at me killed me a bunch before I just ran past them and looted the whole zone. The other mobs didn't give me any trouble. The electric mace I found is cool but it didn't help with Amelia.

Is it feasible to be able to take down Darkbeast Paal at this point? I'm level 30. Should I fight him before Amelia?

Not sure if it's related but this boss can get glitched and not use a lot of his moves. I never saw him do anything but a basic projectile and slash.

Killing though two doesn't affect anything I don't think. I got her during the dark moon phase.
And are you looking at the right spot? Eileen is actually outside the ward looking at the grand cathedral.

Yeah, I've seen her silhouette version standing at that place when I was helping people in their worlds. Those people still had their world in twilight, no dark moon (which appears after Amelia).
This quest can suck it, honestly.

OMFG these damn Bag Men are fucking insane. They hit SO fucking hard, attack so damn fast and their attack patterns are incredibly difficult to predict. Am I missing something? These guys are fucking annihilating me. They are harder than any of the bosses I've fought thus far. It's nuts. Seriously I refuse to believe any enemy in this game is this unfair. I've gotta be missing something but for the life of me I can't figure out what.

I started playing this last nght and after losing about 7000 blood echos because of the Lycans I was doing whatever I could to avoid them. I was running around for ages this morning just thinking there had to be another lamp to Hunter's Dream somewhere but then I found the door which joins the area with the lycans to the start. Such a relief since I was carrying 9000 blood echos. Now I can have a go at them without worrying about wasting time and echos.

What is up with the lack of good DEX weapons? I'm on my way to
Cthulhu Castle
or whatever and STR weapons have been getting a lot of love, whereas the DEX weapon with the best scalling, which is still only C, is the cane. I'm using the saw spear.
Ludwig's Holy Blade has great SKL scaling. Reiterpallasch, Chikage (fully upgraded it has S SKL scaling., and Blades of Mercy as well.

If you're where I was
Unseen Village before beating Vicar Amelia, I just ran past them. They don't follow too far. You can loot shit by kiting them away and then running back to grab the goods.

Now everyone is going to have a different part that they found especially rough but the N
ightmare
of M

first lantern area nearly made me pack it in for the day.

Finally got to the next lantern.
i had to poison the hunter and back away out of aggro range. I am not proud but I'd been making the run to the spider room for an hour at that point.
Whew/sheesh.

Hang on, I just heard you can't invade in areas where you beat the boss. Is that true? Would explain why my bell wasn't working sometimes earlier

Yep I am there. But I'm trying to explore. I can handle literally every other enemy in the area with ease except these guys. They kick my ass every damn time unless I can get a backstab in at the start of the battle. Surely theres an easier way to handle these guys. They are the hands down hardest enemy in the game other than the high insight white cuthulu shamans. But these guys are just regular enemies and they are wiping the floor with me. It seems damn near impossible to parry them thanks to their varied attacks and the speed and range of them.

107, but I can drag it up fast if needed. Currently, that means the cap I can play with is 127.
I'm only 83 lol, sorry man. I honestly don't know how I beat those bosses. The fact that health is halved is brutal, so good luck. I ran through everything and fought practically nobody except the bosses. Once I hit the switches I made enemies kill me so I can be by the door.

I was scared of that the 2nd guy at first but uh, he's quite different once you get him down halfway, lol.
Yeah I saw his second form. He didn't have much health left but camera got wonky and I got stuck on a wall and I couldn't move. He pounded me :(

Welp.

So now I've got

Cainhurst Castle
Nightmare Frontier
and Upper Cathedral
unlocked.

Any recommended order I should tackle these places?
They're all optional so you can go to whatever you want. Nightmare Frontier has the easiest boss however, so it might be easy to do that first

One of the only areas I straight up sprinted through.
