Am I under leveled for the U
pper Cathedral
at 56? I just grabbed the key at Y
hargul Chapel
and headed over there. What a creepy fucking place. The music is great.

Speaking of music, the
"new" Hunter's Dream
music is fucking fantastic.

Ludwigs holy blade is so gud. What a great weapon.

I can't wait to use it! I just got the mark that opens up the option to purchase Ludwig's Holy Blade. Next step is to farm the blood echoes needed to purchase it. I also need 1 more point in Strength it looks like. I have been putting all my points in skill instead since I have been using the Threaded Cane which is an awesome weapon too.

Haven't seen many people mention this, I feel like the game has really good AI. Well specifically the hunters and a few of the boss fights. They can feel very similarl to fighting real players sometimes

I've cheesed pretty much all of them, but I certainly agree.

So I've read Vicar Amelia is a extremely hard boss. What is the recommended level to fight her. I think I'm in the mid ~20, I have fortified my weapon 3 times and have two gems equipping it. Should I avoid her for now?

I think I beat her in the high 20's.

Fight her a few times without burning any blood vials just to get used to her attack timings. Then when you are ready for the real deal, use fire paper on your weapon to fuck her up. The fire does a lot more damage.

I don't see what the hype is about this. Thing swings too damn slow.

I still haven't found a weapon better than the starting axe. :/

Slow weapons can be some of the most fun once you learn how to do them. It really forces you to be extremely careful with your timing, which makes it really rewarding when you land a massive hit.

welp in NG+ tried to invade someone but got invaded instead, dude tried to jump me while i was clearing some mobs, i had to put him down with my good old logarius's wheel +10, fight lasted like 20 secs.

Bloodborne, where guns suck ass unless you're an NPC hunter. What horsecrap, never was like this in the other souls games. The npc versions where always fair.

So I'm in Yargul. Helped someone co-op beat
the old one
. When I do that, how many more main bosses till the games done?

I accidently aggro'd Emelie and even quickly restarting BB wouldn't undo that state, so ended up killing her after a bunch of tries and a lot of luck.

Was going to buy the crowfeather armor from the vendor but... it seems worse than the Yharnam Hunter set you can buy for a like 3000 echo total? Only one or two minor stats are higher, and the rest are all lower. AFAIK armor can't be improved and doesn't level up as you level up, so am I missing something or is crowfeather just for looks?

One of the big downfalls of this game is most armor is pretty much all the same, just with stats slightly altered here and there. Might as well wear what looks good.

After the first boss in nightmare of menis, go back the start of the fight and use the key you can find in the same area. Bring sedatives.

There's an alternate route that is much easier actually.
Using the shortcut cage with the door ripped open, there's a window you can go in as it raises. This leads down a path with a few frenzy inducing enemies, but once you get past them there's a lever that drop the main threat. I opened the iron door from the other end actually, lol.

Can anyone tell me where the shortcut to the
opening area from the forbidden woods
is?

At the village, there's a section with dogs in cages, go past that into a cave. That's where you will find it.

Any way of leveling the WPN 2 ATK? Mine is only 153 while my 1 ATK is 236.

Those are the attack stats for the weapons you have equipped in slot 1 and slot 2. Maybe the weapon in slot 2 hasn't been upgraded as much or doesn't scale well with your stats?

What are the minimum stats required for ludwig?

Where do you get this set of armor after the third boss?

Get killed by a guy holding a sack to reach the Unsee Village. From there go up to the top floor, run outside, and head right. After killing a pig the set will be found on some dead bodies down the hill. If you explore this area you can open up a shortcut skipping what has so far been the hardest section of the game for me later on in the game.

Mid-game question-

just got to unseen village. Is there a way to make these guys stop re spawning constantly?

Aren''t guns meant for stagger and nothing else? It's like having a shield from Souls game that can only be used to parry.

I wear it because it looks great lol

Look for the women ringing bells. They're typically hidden/behind the hordes--killing them also makes the enemies around them much weaker.

Ultimately I'd say so, but it feels like a bunch of guns are redundant as you might as well use the fastest firing one.

In sword form, it has more damage output and speed than the hand axe.

In greatsword form, it has slower speed than the axe, yet better damage output.

I have to agree R2 attack of Ludwig Greatsword is pretty bad though. The damage output isn't worth the charging time at all.

Well yeah, but issue is that NPC Hunters have guns that do way too much damage... Not to mention the infinite stamina and unlimited ammo. Really unfair and I don't like those fights much, esp when they constantly heal (at least those that do).

How do you make Eileen the Crow appear at C
athedral
W
ard
? I still don't see her.
Yeah, she's not there for me either. Just beat Rom and went there because I want her armor but she wasn't laying outside the grand cathedral.

I thought he was rather boring and easy. You didn't try and fight his minions did you?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I don't know why, but he was just so hard for me. Only boss that took me more than four tries.
