that boss is legit easy though.
You can parry kill the sword wielder easily. Use the giant tombstone to wedge between them. You can even hit them through it sometimes. Save the fire guy for the end for a really easy fight.

Yeah, i think people will appreciate chalice dungeons more when they progress farther. They start super easy.

Hunters
are by far the hardest non-boss enemies towards the end game. They are harder than some bosses. You need to learn their patterns and only attack when they are vulnerable and be patient because it may take time to whittle their health down.

If you're facing the VA boss area, here's what awaits you:

To the right:
A couple of hunters, some trolls, and a room with a door you can't open yet (along with a surprise when you try).

To the left:
A woods eventually leading to the area with witches. This wasn't a very difficult area IMO.

You can get another from a secret area, in the Healing Church Workshop, there's a pit area on the side, theres a door with a platform about 2/3's of the way down, need to land there and enter. Explore that area for the second.

Third, you need to visit the top of Iosefka's Clinic after killing an important story boss
you'll know when things drastically change.
The door is locked if you go from the lantern, you need to discover a way to get there.
Forbidden forest, left side of the village there's a path there that will lead to a cave. That cave will then lead to the Clinic. You need to kill her, after this important story boss is dead - not before, to drop the 3rd item.

There's a fourth chance to get the item as well, but it's not needed if you can get it through those three.
Arianna the whore, much later on in the game once you killed another important story boss, if you saved her and she's in Cath Ward, will move down to Tomb of Odeon, something will happen to her and you kill something next to her, to get the item.

That's my attempt of explaining without spoiling boss names etc.

Endgame. Level/Souls mean nothing, you run around with hundreds of thousands and you dont care. Not to say it costs more than 100k to level you up, it's just kinda needless. Arcane'd, my swords in the 700s on atk.
 
Late game boss stuff.

When M
oon Presence does that red AOE thing out of his head, what are you supposed to do? As a cooperator, it one shots me no matter how far away I am but occasionally I take no damage whatsoever.
When I google it I get a ton of incorrect info :(

I dunno, they could literally just add the item to your storage or inventory if the boss is dead. I want to believe From isn't that technically incompetent.

I got really close to beating them just now though (wtf,

?!) so I probably won't need help. Just time.

What level have people generally been when taking on the SoY, btw? I'm 51 and wondering if I'm either overleveled or under.
 
is that big rat in the sewers of the first part killable right away or should I come back to it?

I've literally played the game for close to 4 hours and still havent even seen the cleric beast boss.

To me, this game is hard as FUCK but GOD DAMN I can't stop playing it...

Does it really ruin PvP as far as finding matches? Like I said, I believe I was being matched against dudes way beyond my level.... maybe the 10 level difference is not reflected/mandatory here?
 
Question about chalice dungeons: are you only allowed to open a limited amount of chalice dungeons based on the tombstones? I need mats for different ones, could you just go back and clear ones you already opened for a chance at different mats?

Can you override chalice dungeons?

Any help is much appreciated, hunters.

So I am in the Nightmare mensis and I recently looked up how to get the true ending of this game
. I think I missed the one in the Clinic because I killed the girl too early and I don't think I can get Ariana anymore more.
Can anyone confirm this for me?

It's doable :P I do that for school because I dislike it there so much that I just let myself be mentally braindead. I start to wake up around 3 mentally. My grades are fine, I just dont really remember that part of my day.

Got to the Forbidden Forest this morning. Accrued 50,000 blood echoes. Spent 30 minutes wandering around this fucking maze. Died because of a dumb mistake. So mad.

you only need 3, and there are 4 in the game. You'll have to double back and find the abandoned workshop if you havent

I got a question about the same place.
Does the hunter drop anything special, and is it an optional fight? Because I kinda ran past her into the ladder upstairs and got the stuff from there.
