that place in Ailing Loran with all those fucking spiders is impossible, what the fuck.

It was the easiest boss for me by far (you even have time to manage your inventory lol). Once you get rid of the
Bell Maidens
, put on good Arcane Resistance armor and just hack at him. It'll take a while, but he's not fast. Keep some blood vials I guess.

oh I wasn't aware you could get rid of them, thanks

Seriously getting a little frustrated now, have waited 45 minutes searching for someone to join connect against the
Micolash
fight. Used 11 insight trying to connect to people today without any luck.

I'm not trying to sound mean, but it's probably because no one is ringing a bell there. Here's a tip that makes the fight really really simple:

Clear out the room that he runs to of the marionettes. Then chase him until he runs into the room. Stay very close to him, and slash him face until you run low on stamina. Dash away to avoid his tentacle arm spell, then dash back in and repeat. For the second time you fight him in the locked room upstairs, DO NOT STAND FAR AWAY. He will unleash a starfall ability that can be difficult to dodge. Just get in his face and his only attack will be the tentacle arms before. You just have to establish dominance the minute you fall into the room.

The ghosts in neither area respawn at all(Unless you reload). And personally I thought the ghosts in both areas were the best part, though the Dark Wraiths were fun enemies.

Yeah, I guess it's just not fun to fight them for me. Like I can't get that tangible feeling of accomplishment or like the challenge is big but beatable I guess? I don't know. It's not fun for me the way something like Undead Burg is.

I really hated the first part. Both that and
Cainhurst
I don't like as much as other people seem to because of the ghosts. Like I don't know if they infinitely respawn, but they certainly seem to, and I don't have any motivation to beat them all because of it. So then I just run through the area and it's kind of a mix of boring and frustrating rather than rewarding.

I guess that's partly my fault, but still..

They respawn like normal enemies if you die, but they don't infinitely spawn if that's what you're saying.

Beaten!

Seems like a weird outlook. They're just another enemy like any other. And they're pretty weak.

You can kill all of the ghosts in both New Londo Ruins and Cainhurst Castle, and they won't come back until you restart the area.

The ones in Cainhurst aren't bad at all. They look cool, but they're weak. Also, they don't phase through walls, which makes them much easier to escape.

Yeah, it's probably just me lol. I didn't even make that connection between the two areas until just now and I'm not huge on either.

Point still stands.

So lost right now. I beat
the three hunters
. I'm where
they were at.
I still haven't fought
Paarl or The One Reborn.

I know that feel, bro. finally managed to beat it today.
unfortunately, this place has an item that unlocks something amazing. edit: ok, confused it with another item, so it unlocks something probably not amazing but still pretty cool :P

Level 115 or something and almost done with my NG+ run. Feels good :D

(though I will probably do a bunch of small stuff before I turn the knob on the ending)

I think im at the end of the game the
house is on fire and doll told me to go see gherman.

How close am i to finishing cause i wanna get some things done before.

I had the bug where things from your storage just disappear. In my case it was my bullets that were gone. I previously had 99 in stock and that's what it kept showing when I tried buying some...I couldn't pick up dropped bullets either. My storage had no bullets in it though and when I died my bullets weren't replenished either.

In the end I put one of the bullets I was still carrying into storage. That seems to fix it.
You're still losing your items but if anyone has the same problem that's a temporary fix I guess until this is patched.

The camera is all kinds of wonky with the Cl

B
east
boss fight. I just happened to walk up there and died pretty quickly.

I also saw some sort of big pig standing in a narrow hallway. Noped out of there, might return to that thing later though.

Where the heck do I go from here?

I am where the three hunters were at and have the option of going down some steps or continuing forward.

The
Upper Cathedral Key
?

Either way is fine. Once you go outside you should realize where you are.

Yeah, that item.

Took me 27 hours according to the timer to finish the game. Only did one chalice dungeon but I did complete most of the side-quests and every optional boss. Definitely on the shorter side for the series, but maybe I'm just good at this point. Looked up the true ending requirements
before the final boss and was frustrated that I only had two of the cords because I had found the doctor early and thus didn't get the drop. Oh well, on to NG+

The giant wolfs in Central Yharnam that attack you just as you get to the top of the stairs leading to the great bridge seem to drop through the floor 50% of the time when you kill them.

It sucks because I was using them to farm blood stones by cheesing them through the doorway they can't fit through at the bottom of the stairs. Then half the time their bodies would fall through the floor and I couldn't get their drops.

It's like the game knew I was cheesing. lol

Some more noob-ish questions, since I'm trying not to use a Wiki.

-Beast pellets. Yay? Nay? Do you recommend their usage? If so, when?
-The Brooch and
Amelia's
pendant. Do I just use them or save them for later?

I've used beast pellets and i had never notice any difference in terms of differences when attacking or what not, i just randomly use it on bosses

Amelia's pendant holds no use for keeping it for a long time, just use immediately for a nice early bloodgem. Brooch i just handed it to the girl who was trying to find her mother. Never bothered checking her ever since, heard that you can send her to the cathedral ward at some point of the game

Ok, I think I'm stuck. I hope I am, anyway.
Basically, i've killed the 6th boss,
the giant spider thing.
Now I have to go to the 7th. I've teleported to the Village with those giant things stuck to the wall. Am I in the right place? I have managed to reach the place where I have been imprisoned, but only by running away from most of the battles. Tell me I'm not in the right place... If I am, what's your advice? How do I approach enemies that respawn every 20 seconds? Should I go back and level up (now I'm at 50)?
This area is the worst one yet, both for the enemies (reskinned) and the difficulty, waaay too high.

ok good, you got it already (edited my previous post, it's not that amazing, but still pretty cool).

have you been captured before? it might help recognizing this place, if you explored it earlier.
but basically go outside, one way leads to a dead end and the other one to the boss. you can find the path to paarl in the cells somewhere underneath those chapel/stairs.

the bell maiden spawns them, if you kill her the other ones won't respawn. of course every little area has its own stupid maiden. if you want to play it safe, just get yourself summoned and get familiar with the area first, get some extra blood echoes as bonus. :)

That pig is all bark and no bite. Draw him out and proceed to perform colon surgery
