Got lost in the shuffle:

How do you guard against
Frenzy
damage? and how do you get more
sedatives other than the old lady
?

So I talked to some lady that gave me the
good hunters marks
and something else, but it wasn't showing up in my inventory last night.

Think is was a
cape
or something.
God, farming for potions/bullets between boss attempts is so annoying. I miss the estus flask.
I said this a few times in the OTs but spend echoes on vials. There is no need to farm.

When you go into new game plus the Chalice Dungeons carry over, right? Do the enemies and bosses there also become more powerful from being in NG+ or is that just the enemies the main game?

Only the main game changes. Chalice is the same.

Yes they do carry, and chalice difficulty has no relation to ng/ng+/++ and so on

Mostly in chalice dungeons - the sinister one was particularly strange. I needed to find an item in a chalice dungeon that allowed me to 'disenchant' extra ritual materials into 'arcane haze' for the sinister ritual.

I've gotten a few items from bosses and such in the main game. And you can buy some crap with insight but I don't know what triggers being able to buy it.

You can get Arcane Haze from Lower Pthumeru Layer 3 by the way. I just farmed 22 of them last night to use as ingredients for Defiled Chalice. In the big courtyard there's 8 or 9 of those tall millipede dudes like the one from Byrgenwerth, and they have a 100% drop rate on Arcane Haze

Get good son.

The last boss I fought only took two tries
the double witches or whatever that got me the ability to equip runes
, but even getting a buffer of like 12 potions before a boss is annoying with the load times. I'm not that far though and I'm still like level 25. Honestly I die before I use half my potions in a boss fight when I die, but it feels weird running into a boss with like 5 potions and 4 bullets, even I only wind up using that many.

I keep turning the game off because of how tiring warping around is. I think I've explored everywhere I can think of, I just have two more bosses open to me
giant wolf that prays up in the cathedral and the blood wolf in wolf town
. I've only tried twice on each, but man am I getting tired of warping back to the forest with the riflemen and dog squads to make sure I have a non-zero number of bullets.

Then again, I'm using the repeater which seems like complete garbage since neither one of my guns does damage and repeater just wastes infinite bullets when I'm trying to parry(the timing of which still makes no sense to me).

I'm not asking for help because the game is a puzzle and that defeats the purpose, but man some of the gameplay decisions just seem like a step down from Dark Souls. Mainly having to warp back to the dream and not having an estus flask to avoid shitty farming that has nothing to do with difficulty levels.

Game is updating?

I do agree that the warping is kinda stupid as are the load times but the Vial situation in the long run is a non factor especially when can get like 99 stacked up. Having 20 vials on you against a boss makes many bosses a lot easier than they should be.

Sorry to ask again but should I tackle the
Unseen Village
at Lvl 39? Seems pretty tough. I haven't visited the
Forbidden Woods
yet and just beat the
Cathedral boss
.

It might be a bit tough then. I think I did
the forest
first, but it might be good to hang around and get some twin blood shards for your weapon.

Can someone tell me how to get this item in Cathedral Ward? It's up a few stairs from the lantern but I can't see any way to get to it.

Lol yeah this item sure wasn't worth all of the omg what is it.... Go tot the right of the cathedralward lamp.. After you kill the dog boss...

I have no idea where to go now. Beat the
hemick witch, darkbeast paarl, blood starved beast, cleric beast, gascoingne, vicor amelia
. How do I get to a new area?

I did this yesterday and my memory's a little fuzzy, but I think this is how I did it.

I believe you need to go up the elevator at the cathedral on the right, where you can send npcs to the area. Crossing bridge where there are two snipers from above, make your way to the right and there's a place you can drop down. Keep making your way down and you'll exit to where that item is.

It's actually nothing impressive though.
Think it was one of those coldblood dew exp items

Go to
the graveyard at the bottom of the cathedral steps. There's a building to the side that you can go through to get down to the password door.

Guys HELP! Question about POINT OF NO RETURN!

I beat the nurse and the workshop in the hunter's dream is on fire.Is there anything I missed that can be done ? Or is that it for this playthrough ?

You know the courtyard with the giants before the stairs up to Amelia's cathedral? There's a little archway past one of the giants, that goes to that area with the tentacle face dude. Follow that path to the place with the locked door that you may have come across previously - it said you needed a password. You now have the password.

I fairly regret not putting points into arcane; now I'm locked onto my all-physical route, and I'm missing out on the cooler stuff like the "spells" and fire/bolt/arcane weapons and gems that I keep getting.

'Spells' are awesome yo.
Old hunter bone
is so good. Only need 15 arcane for it too

Need some help at the
witches
boss in charnel lane NG+

I'd appreciate it. I can help anyone else out too.
