It's probably been asked a load of times before, but how do you equip runes? I have a bunch of them and not really sure how/where you go to equip them? Thanks

Defeated
shadow of yharnam
boss on second attempt. Used all 20 vials and was down to 10% health on the last blow.
Went for the fireball guy first, then then flaming scythe dude then shit myself completely on the last guy. Thought it was a tad bit easy to be honest until those huge snakes appeared.

One shot R
om
and the O
ne
R
eborn
on NG+.

I literally fought zero enemies in the area leading here. fuck that place mang.

Only saw
The huge snakes once, since I killed them so fast

You need a tool to use the memory altar in the hunters dream. I forget which boss you have to fight in order to unlock it but it may be the
witch of hemlock

I'm stuck at
lecture hall I simple cant find the door to the secound floor, already killed amygdala, either I'm blind or really stupid!Help anyone?
Where ever the lamp post is, walk to the opposite end of the room :) it blends in and I acutally missed my first time as well.

Took out M
artyr
L
ogarius
. Was touch and go and he didn't allow me to interrupt his buff (he was against a wall), but made it through. Didn't talk to the individual past him. Is that the better c
ovenant
to join or no? Pros and cons?

Also went through two chalice dungeons with only an uncanny saw blade to show for it. Will do my first depth 2 dungeon either later tonight or in the morning.

Is there a closer lamp to V
icar Ameila
besides the one where you have to drop down the wood platforms and go all the way back to the cathedral?

So why is it that I can't fast travel to anywhere past Church of the Good Chalice? I went to farm vials and I think I'm going to have to go the whole long way to
Amygdala
again instead of being able to port straight there....

Anyone? It is seriously a pain to get anywhere past that point having to traverse all of that shit again.

Man
amygdala
in the defiled chalice is so cheap. Trying to stay behind him and slash his tail but he keeps clipping me or doing his damn jump attack. Got him down to 20% and he glitches out, jumped onto the ceiling and half clipped out of the area so I couldn't even hit him. Think I need a bit of a break. Had no problem with him in the main game, killed him first try. Dunno why I'm doing this anyway. Nothing unique/useful in these dungeons anyway. Just more ingredients.

Is there a good spot to farm chunks before I go to ng+?

The cathedral ward lamp. Just take the gate that you see when you jump off the final ledge into that area

On to NG+

Took me 34 hours flat, lvl 72.

I loved every frustrating angry enjoyable filled minute of it. Was my first From game and I think I'm hooked. Will def pick up Dark Souls 2 next week.

That door just take me back to
nightmare frontier, which I already visited and defeated amygadala, i have no clue what to do now

I don't understand Chalice Dungeon's...which ones are random and which ones are fixed?...how can you tell?...are any of them required for the main story or are they all optional?...I just finished Pthumerian Labyrinth...was that a fixed one?...it had 3 Levels but I thought the dungeons all had 5 levels?

I activated one. Not sure about this other one... I can't find a way without going through the pigs. =/
I see. Well look for
a little pond that looks as if there's some fireflies around it and that has four paths leading to it. It's around there somewhere.
. You also can backstab/VA all the pigs in the area.

"Root" = random, others aren't. They're just for funsies. You get some gems and (supposedly) for runes. I'm mostly just doing them for the new boss fights.

It should be
right below it or above it in the same spot. There are two lamp post. One down stairs and one up stairs
personally not sure which one will leads where :p
Edit:forgot to mention

Does anyone know what giving blood dregs to to v
ileblood
lady does? Cause I'm not gonna lie, I got fed up with giving her all these things for nothing in return, so I duped 100 of them to give to her and I still can't see any noticeable benefit or return.

Wow just finished the A
lfred/Vileblood
sidequest.
Alfred is one sick bastard. Ended up killing him myself after he gave me his items, after all I am a vileblood now. It was a cool fight though.

I JUST WANTED TO USE THE FUCKING LANTERN

WHO IS THAT PERSON IN THE GRAVEYARD

WHATTA ASSHOLE.

By the way, why is it that some lanterns don't let me use them, like the prison, or the forest area?

Question about ending requirements:
I have one Umbilical Cord so far, the prostitute is safe but Iofska is dead in my game. Where can I get another one? Also, should I just use them right away or do I need to save them for a certain point?

Abandoned Old Workshop. To get to this area, you need to first travel to the Cathedral Ward lamp. Once here, go through the door to your right. This door will only open once you have defeated the Blood-starved beast in Old Yharnham. See Blood-starved Beast if you need help finding the location of the boss. You now want to head up the elevator, and instead of going into the tower ahead you want to go around to the right and fall down. Now enter the tower, and you will be in a room with wooden pathways leading down a very large hole. From the top platform you start on, you want to roll down to the wooden platform that is to your left upon entering. It has ropes right next to it. You need a fair amount of health to survive this fall, so make sure you don't attempt it with low health or you will die. Once on this smaller platform, roll down to the right and then go through the door. You are now in the abandoned old workshop, and the first piece of the umbilical cord can be found in the house where the rune workshop is in the Hunter's Dream.

Nothing, the right door is only a dead end room, the one to the left is just a circle room with chairs and thats it, no doors nothing...

FUCK ROM
FUCK ROM FUCK ROM FUCK ROM

GODDAMNIT. Seriously how the fuck.

>.> Just
pick off the spiders one at a time. They're vulnerable to transform/guardbreak. Then run in and get your hits on rom. Back off when he rears up to do the AOE, and strafe to the left when he does the ice crystals. Rom is also vulnerable to guardbreak (otherwise it's gonna be a long fight).

so every player gets the same fixed dungeons?...or does everyone get a slightly tweaked version of their own Chalice Dungeon?...I'm assuming everyone is different hence the ability to upload your unique dungeon for other players

Be brave and try rolling.

Actually the best way to kill him is to stay close to him at all times when clearing up the adds. This prompts him to flip onto his back to do a relatively short range AOE that you can see visibly marked by ripples in the water rather than raining down the blue meteors of doom. Just make a mad dash toward him every time he teleports and you'll be fine.
