Anyone? It is seriously a pain to get anywhere past that point having to traverse all of that shit again.
There's more than one gravestone that you can teleport from.

That seems insane to me. I just ran in and zerked him down. Took three tries.>.> Justpick off the spiders one at a time. They're vulnerable to transform/guardbreak. Then run in and get your hits on rom. Back off when he rears up to do the AOE, and strafe to the left when he does the ice crystals. Rom is also vulnerable to guardbreak (otherwise it's gonna be a long fight).
They overused the initial enemy type, but I enjoyed it.I must be one of the few that thought cainhurst sucked except for the boss.

Most godlike boss strategy, for all bosses:
Drinkwhatever vial of blood you got from an NPC at the Cathedral Ward. The prostitute gives you borderline endless stamina (hur hur), and the religious woman gives you passive massive health regen. The first lets you burn down bosses faster, and the second lets you be more aggressive without worrying about consequences.
I didn't figure this strategy out until the end of the game, but I plan on drinking one of these suckers every time I fight a boss next time around. I also plan on using it every time I go to PvP.

What's your setup? Stats, weapon, and runes?Haha, I just killed Brainsucker at Depth 5 in about 10 seconds.
The prostitute gave me a refill when I asked for one. I imagine that it doesn't run out.they aren't one use?
It was alright, though I found the ghosts crying annoying after a while.

So what is the best way to get rid of that Gatling gun guy? I have seen some videos about cheering him off by just knocking him off, but he seems to always stay on somehow when I try.

Yep, I really liked Cainhurst Castle, too. Aside from the first mobs in that area, screw those things.
Abandoned Old Workshop. To get to this area, you need to first travel to the Cathedral Ward lamp. Once here, go through the door to your right. This door will only open once you have defeated the Blood-starved beast in Old Yharnham. See Blood-starved Beast if you need help finding the location of the boss. You now want to head up the elevator, and instead of going into the tower ahead you want to go around to the right and fall down. Now enter the tower, and you will be in a room with wooden pathways leading down a very large hole. From the top platform you start on, you want to roll down to the wooden platform that is to your left upon entering. It has ropes right next to it. You need a fair amount of health to survive this fall, so make sure you don't attempt it with low health or you will die. Once on this smaller platform, roll down to the right and then go through the door. You are now in the abandoned old workshop, and the first piece of the umbilical cord can be found in the house where the rune workshop is in the Hunter's Dream.

HOLY FUCK
there are illusory walls in chalice dungeons. found one in Depth 5 dungeon
run up the ladder and as soon as you reach the top sprint towards the guy and attack him...a few swings with my Saw Cleaver and he fell off the tower...had to leave the level and return later to collect my badge though
Yoshi, would you agree with me that this game is one of the best games you've played to date, but not quite as good as Dark Souls?
Curious to hear your opinion on the matter.
I would def. put Bloodborne in my top 5 now, but I don't know if it beats out Dark Souls at the end of the day.
Give me 5 minutes and I'll be on. What's your level now?
Whats the difference with the normal one?Seems my new dungeon has given me Ludwig's Lost Holy Blade.
You know I don't rank Dark Souls (1) high at allYoshi, would you agree with me that this game is one of the best games you've played to date, but not quite as good as Dark Souls?

Do you use Eileen's hunter rune for faster stamina regen?Blades of Mercy with 21% physical, 21.8% physical, and Physical ATK UP +9.8% with Add arcane ATK 31.5.
20% more stamina rune, 40 skill, and 25 arcane. 1 combo brings him lower than half health and the second killed him. It was glorious. Now I just want to stack stamina runes.
