I have No idea on where to go next.. Nightmare
Frontier- I unlocked two shortcuts, killed a spider like boss, got pushed into poison water, found countless runes ect.
Am I done here? Where do I go next?

Keep looking. You will 100% know when you've reached the end of the level. Look for a
building.

Alright.

Help!

I have 33 Skill and 23 Arcane and 12 Bloodtinge

What is the best weapon that scales Skill for me?

I'm not quite sure exactly how Arcane damage works in the game. I can't do both right? I do Arcane OR physical?

I'm pretty far in the game (possibly endgame?) and I have access to a good assortment of weapons.

I think the main four I have to pick between are

Threaded Cane
Rifle Spear
Blade of Mercy
Reiterpallasch

Help please!

use the one with the move set you like the most.

Ok, thank you. Wasted some upgrades in that sword, hopefully it won't take too long to level the axe up then.

nothing is wasted. I really like that all weapons are viable in this game. so if you like one weapon, you can just keep upgrading until you max it. all the starting weapons are great.

sounds good. will try it out with using some fire paper.

Oops, sorry, I think I meant her left leg haha! Right side as in dodge to your right. Her right leg (your left side) might be more difficult. Sorry! Either way, try to get to the back when she's recovering from an attack and just whack one of her back legs.

Question regarding Eileen the Crow:
Has anyone had any luck beating the opponent during the third (or the second one that requires a fight) Eileen the Crow encounter at the Cathedral?

I feel like I'm fighting a Victorian terminator or some shit.

Tried him like 15 times (lvl 68) and while i can get him dowm pretty good with my Ludwig +6, his insta healing and his railgun shots who take like 60% of my health make this fight not really even. You also can parry him but that's only around 400 dmg (he has something like 3500)

In the end is used the cheese
his blood mode, where he uses his health for stronger attack, just leave cathedral when it's active and he dies inside
-_- because i didn't want to wait till i get my weapon to +10 and have lvl 150.

Still a fun fight.

Curses!

I have Threaded Cane,
Blade of Mercy & Rifle Spear
at +7

Took a while to get used to the
Blade of Mercy
but now I'm chewing through things but haven't tried it against a boss yet.

The
Reiterpallasch
is wildly intriguing though. I need to get my Bloodtinge up to 18 I believe which is a bit wasteful for my build BUT...one does what one must for the sake of style...

Well,
Rom
really should not have taken that long.

What a vacuous asshole.

That was legit the toughest boss in the game for me. It took me 4 hours to beat him. Coop players were useless and dying within seconds, got sick of using insight, so i just solod him. 0 vials left and one hit away from death. Too damn close. Those fucking blue spam attacks one shot me everytime. Piece of shit boss.

I am not there yet, but the cheese strategy appears to be
getting the enemy to activate his second stance, which consumes hp per seconds, and then running away

Yeah it's interesting in that I think it's the hardest fight I've ever seen in any Souls game. Those rail gun shots are especially, well, cheap I'd almost say. Didn't know you had to
leave the Cathedral for the cheese to take hold
. I'll try that, also not in the mood to level a bunch before being able to do it.

Question about NPC
Eileen

I talked to her in sewers and after in Cathedral Ward. Now she is gone...
I already beated Vicar Amelia and opened all gates (bought the key as well).
Now I can not find her anywhere... Looked at Tomb of Oedon and nothing.... Am I missing something?

Is it worth it pushing arcane to 25 for elemental atk blood gems and for scaling with the threaded cane and blades of mercy? Current skill build with str vit 15, end 22, str 11 (bad planning ...), skill 22, bld 8, arc 9.

I'm currently able to do one of
Cainhurst Castle, Upper Cathedral Ward or Mergo's Loft
but they're all kicking my arse. Any suggestions?

Damn stupid
spider boss
is kicking my ass,
those diving attacks take off so much health.
I'm finding the boss difficulty to be really inconsistent. I beat the two bosses previous (
the witch and the three hunters
) in my first shot.

That witch fight is bullshit.

I've taken people in with me, and they either fight the ash (ass) monsters, or the second phase of the fight goes awful once one of us is caught.

I can't backstab her like others are telling me to.

Bullshit bullshit bullshit. I'll just go fuck up Vic then.

You might be overthinking it too much.

Just stab and kill everything.

When there is nothing to stab and kill...run around and look for her. She's invisible and keep on stabbing.

Or maybe under-leveled?

It might be easier to do it by yourself then. It might take a little longer to whittle away health though.

She should be at FGs place (Odeaon) fighting Hemwyk (Hunter). If she isn't there you probably ain't going to find her anymore in this playthrough.

I met her there before VA fight so maybe that's the problem.

easiest boss in the game. just
ignore the ash monsters and go after the witches.
you don't need to backstab. just use regular attacks.

You're not alone. I really liked it too.

It becomes more and more twisted and mysterious as you progress deeper into the forest. You can easily get lost there. The first introduction of
these tentacle guys
was cool.
It was also a welcome change in atmosphere compared to the other areas of Yharnam you explored before.

I found it really spooky when the shadows of yharnam slowly walked out of the fog the first time you fight them.

Just a great atmospheric level, my favourite so far. Twisted is a good word to describe it.

She's
right outside the odeon chapel where you send NPCs. Turn left right outside the door (the one straight ahead of you after the lamp). She should be standing there and after talking to her head for the tomb to help her fight a hunter.

I missed this one the first time around
as I accidently shot eileen and went on to kill her.

Getting closer on my second playthrough though. So many options I have to keep in mind tho.
This game branches more than the "Choose your own Adventure" books.

Thought for a moment you mean another witch fight, but like others say, probably easiest boss fight.
Just run around till they are visible, and don't care for the phantoms. Only kill phantoms when you have time or need to because they cornered you.

You might need some more vitality or something. People on here saying that the blue ice is killing them in one shot must have not leveled up their vitality much.

I found Rom fairly easy. Hang back throughout the fight and when you see an opening sprint in and hit her on the side. Her head takes less damage. Hit her safely just once or twice if you think you have time and just roll a few times out of range of her adds. Rinse and repeat that. When she starts doing her ice attack animation I ran to one side and jump rolled and rarely got hit more than once.

Be Patient and pick your spots. I tried to help a bunch of people last night that would either try to kill all the adds or get too risky on hits to her and die

Interesting. Skipped that place. For me it was Sewer > Odeon > in front of Cathedral
beaten by Jesus Hunter.

I just had the best co-op experience last night. The helpful fellow sent me a psn message and was just like do what I do and you will find things you've probably missed. Boy, was he right. During this co-op run in Old Yarnham I got to pick up the rifle spear in a hidden place and also an outfit ( I forget what it's called but it looks ragged with a huge collar). After every pick up that he showed me he would applause me. This guy was the best co-op player I've played with in a long time. By the time we got down to the
Blood Starved Beast
it was three of us. Needless to say that was an easy fight. This was my second character I'm using so I've fought the boss before and beat him. But this is how co-op should be played. I thank you again for the loot fellow hunter!

You definitely need enough vitality to survive the missile attack. Makes fight much more manageable.

Already talked to her there... But cant find in tomb :(

Yeah there's definitely more of a Demon's influence with all these super tough NPCs.

I was yet to meet something as hard as Old King Doran or Garl Vinland until I fought some of these hunters.

Yeah, make sure you kill that bloody-bandage bum guy instead of saving him in the forest. He killed a bunch of people in the ward before I realized he was fucking with my shit.

Bloodborne has been the top selling game on Amazon since launch and keeps climbing past even the accessories.

I have never seen that before.

How come I never got a manual for my digital download? the only game that I ever did get one with was Infamous actually, nothing for TLOU, Destiny or Call of duty for example.

Already talked to her there... But cant find in tomb :(

I spoke to her there and then
I was mucking about in the starting area afterwards and she was at the courtyard where you fight father Gascoigne fighting another hunter, so if you haven't done that then maybe try there.

Strange.
Did she mention staying out of a fight or something like that? As soon as I spoke to her there I headed straight back to the tomb (where you fight gascoigne) and wandered around. I was attacked by a hunter there and Eileen joined the fight.

I'm done, this was the Best game i ever play since a long time. Took 40 hour with all optional area/boss and i was not tired, at all. The atmosphere, the level design, the combat system, everything was amazing.

Now i have 2 other Trophy to get for the platinum, prob get them later today.
