Shin Megami Tensei V could very well be the turn based equivalent of Souls/Bloodborne. I'm sure there is a market for that type of game.

Wasn't a big fan of the sexed up clothing at the beginning of the trailer but otherwise I'm intrigued. I had assumed this would be a fire emblem game with SMT demons and I didn't really care that the game looked dead. But THIS could be interesting, especially if its a legit traditional rpg with some persona elements and good characters. We'll have to see more.

Yeah, same here. There are some obvious influences, but it doesn't look anywhere near the calibur of Persona. Looks more like an off-brand version or something. Can't say it interests me that much as a Persona fan, especially with the real deal right around the corner.

Really wish this looked more SMT. Or even more like Fire Emblem.

Again, this trailer is not necessarily everything that's going on with the game. Obviously this was a Fire Emblem character perspective. What happens when we get an SMT perspective? That's what we'll find out.

What we got in January 2013 was a proof of concept. This isn't SMT though, not even close and I'm not even an SMT fan. Still though it looks "fun".
